Point Dume (7/1) upsets Book'em Danno (4/5) in G2 Carter. Danno didn't have great early trip, but had length of stretch to run Point Dume down and couldn't. See, it's OK to run horses against other horses coming off long layoffs no matter their resume.

UNBRIDLED'S SONG won Aqueduct's Wood Memorial 30 years ago, with Mike Smith up for trainer Jim Ryerson. With impressively he won, in addition to Breeders' Cup Juvenile and Florida Derby wins, he was then favored in the Kentucky Derby. But foot issues plagued him, and he ran 5th.
