*** WELCOME BACK SAM *** SAM DRURY RETURNS TO KINGS MILL ROAD We are delighted to announce the return of club legend Sam Drury. Sam will be back at Kings Mill Road for the 2021 season after spells at Hanging Heaton and Scarborough.

Our own Alec Drury on the board for an innings which took him past 1,000 runs for the season. Well done Al!!

JUNIOR REGISTRATION EVENING Before the 2019 season gets underway, Driffield Town Cricket Club is to hold a registration evening for its junior players in the clubhouse on Kings Mill Road from 6pm on Wednesday 24th April. All junior players old and new welcome to attend.

DOUBLE TRANSFER BOOST FOR WOLDSMEN - APPLEYARD AND GREY SIGN The club is delighted to announce the signings of batsman Tom Appleyard and all-rounder Chris Grey ahead of the 2019 season from @HullZingariCC and @stamfordbridgec. Welcome to Kings Mill Road Tom and Chris!

1st XI - Danny Broumpton remains as captain with Grant Halder as his vice captain.

2nd XI - Kevin Woodcock remains as captain whilst Jack Gibson will be vice captain

Evening league sides - James Richardson takes over from Kevin Woodcock as An XI captain whilst Tom Hudson will again lead the Academy side.

In other news, Chris Hyde was elected as chairman of selectors whilst Andrew Good stepped down as treasurer. The club would like to thank Andrew for his work in the role over the last 25 years, he will be difficult to replace.

5th XI - Michael Nicholson takes charge of the 5ths again with Chris Hyde as vice captain.

4XI - The 4th XIs captaincy remains the same with Neil Woodcock and Shaun Walker being captain and vice captain.

3rd XI - Tom McDougall continues as skipper as does James Barron as VC.

The club held its AGM in the clubhouse last night and the following officials were elected...

CLUB EGM A reminder to all players that it’s the EGM tomorrow evening in the clubhouse from 7:30pm. Please make an effort to attend as we discuss some important issues regarding the club.

Don’t forget it’s our annual Cricket dinner tomorrow evening 🍽🏏 7 for 7:30pm prompt start at the Bell Hotel. Plenty of awards to hand out, 3 course meal and DJ Rayvon 🏆 🎧#shabba
