Always a little better. Just wish I could say the same about my jiu jitsu.

I end up doing more work with AI than less (can do more in the same time). Like at the minute I'm building a frontend with next js and tailwind. Normally I wouldn't even attempt it because it's not "what I do". It's a benefit and if newer engineers start to learn over time, then what is different to what we all did?

Having fun with modules and dependancies for Python this afternoon... often, I hear this is why people stay away from it?

@PatrickOkwute Cloud migration is just cloud migration.. if you have legacy systems that need a massive team to run and you want AWS to manage the infrastructure instead? Lift and shift / cloud migration. Rebuilding legacy systems can cost a lot of money..

Cloud migration isn’t just about moving workloads—it’s about optimizing them. Lift & shift is easy, but real value comes from infrastructure modernization. Are you truly leveraging the cloud, or just renting someone else’s servers? #DevOpsTales #CloudComputing

Unpopular opinion: getting Postgres and pgadmin and all that other shit set up on windows is a clusterfuck and dealing with postgres and postgres user on linux is a clusterfuck too . Fuck you

I am working on building the First-ever Kubernetes MCP tool for `kubectl.` Let me know what features you want it to have. Currently, it can accept prompts like "create pods, increase replicas by 3, or change namespace, etc." Let's make this very useful for @CloudNativeFdn project

Spent $8 on @AnthropicAI today to go around in circles building out some js / html with integration to #aws cognito. How are people making computer games 😂

Watching the coding COMMUNITY dogpile on this guy for getting a reality check after deploying a hobby app to prod is both disgusting and disappointing. I’ve been developing for 14+ years, moderating Stack Overflow for 7+. My first app got hacked with an SQL injection the day after I deployed and blogged about it. And THANK GOD there wasn’t an army of morons calling me an idiot back then (better times?). The smartest devs I know have made the dumbest coding errors you can imagine. That’s how you learn, right? Half the people laughing at this guy would crumble if they had to maintain production systems under real pressure. Next time you’re about to tear into a NEWBIE, make sure your app is out there for the world to see. Let’s see how flawless it really is.

@olavostauros Ouch. Trying to not get overly anxious will help. Be kind to yourself. Don't push it. Pill wise, whatever works, but don't get invested in opiates

In NZ there is a strong division between yeast spreads. I've just switched sides. it's been over 30 years and I thought I hated it but veggiemite is actually good
