Think life is short? Think again. Life is actually quite long. In 2003, I was promoted for the first time in my career at @WIRED.  In my new role, I set four objectives to achieve in that year, one of which being to secure an educational partner. In December 2003, @EastCarolina believed in me and partnered with us. I never forgot that. Two months ago, a dear friend of mine and business partner for 20+ years, @AnnaGriffinNow, asked if I would speak with a group of emerging leaders from her alma mater ... @EastCarolina. And, today - nearly 21 years after their institution put its faith in me - I had the honor of chatting with these students on their visit to NYC.  Funny how the world works. Never forget those who helped you on your way up! 🙏❤️
