Hearing of some errors from BSA who are changing the credit of UDAs for the unscheduled care based on the UDA value. At least you should calculate for yourself what £60 equates to and contact BSA if it’s wrong @TheBDA
It is clearly unacceptable that children are having to wait up to four years for NHS orthodontic treatment. A shortage of orthodontists, Covid backlogs, and long-standing NHS funding gaps drive this.
And the picture for NHS dentistry… ❌14 million adults unable to access care. ❌Satisfaction with service stuck at record lows ❌Not a penny of new investment pledged to underpin recovery
In @DHSCgovuk's world do women have no mouths!? Oral health is invisible in this women's health strategy. 🦷Millions continue to miss out. 🦷As patients, as parents, and as carers. 🦷Pregnant women remain unable to access free NHS dental care to which they're entitled.
@EddieCrouch Two things need to happen to save & reform NHS Dentistry.. first Dentists need to be paid properly & then they must work in the NHS doing general practice for a certain period of time. to stop them chasing big money & doing implant & high end cosmetic work.
An important question from @AdrianRamsay MP, and we are yet to hear a clear answer. Recycling static budgets won't restore care to millions.
We’re investing more in the NHS and delivering differently. I'm investing £237 million in 36 new and improved Community Diagnostic Centres. This means shorter waits for tests and scans closer to home, more convenient services, and more footfall to our high streets.

This is very welcome but key will be what is meant by “fundamental reform”. Time to listen not to get excited in my experience
