So Pamilerin the useless child raised on Ogi finally closed his useless restaurant due to his landlord raising the rent of the restaurant, this is someone that will jump at any government gig to the detriment of those gullible people that follows him. This useless child was at the Endsars protest shouting “you mess with the wrong generation “ not knowing he was there to project himself for government visibility to be a used tool. All of them will feel it and posterity wouldn’t be kind to them.

Every year since 2023, we’ve asked one question: How are Nigerians really doing with money? In 2025, we went deeper, deploying over 90 data collectors to reach more than 25,000 Nigerians across rural and urban communities in all six geopolitical zones. This year, beyond tracking income and spending, we wanted to understand something more honest: Are Nigerians actually moving forward… or just surviving? The Piggyvest Savings Report 2025 is here. Read it. Share it. Let's talk about it! 🚀 👉🏾: piggyvest.com/reports/2025

This functionality argument is the same trap that gave us the current state of the Lagos BRT, Nigerian roads being bad, a smelly environment, failing infrastructure and so on. When “experts” complain, the response becomes: People aren’t complaining! We should be thankful there are buses working. At least they’ve poured gravel on the road. Today, we now have a system that is functional but broken, uninspiring, and stripped of dignity. We are becoming a manageable society - no, we are already a manageable society. Let’s look at Stripe or Wise. These aren’t graphics studios; they are financial infrastructure, yet they obsess over every pixel. Why? Because in FinTech, good design equals trust. That’s what differentiates you from CBEX, MMM, and the likes. Even the US Government (via the USDS) enforces rigid design standards because they know that a lack of polish signals a lack of competence. When a market leader like Nomba settles for mediocre, vibecoded outputs, it is lowering the ceiling for every developer in Nigeria. That’s simply telling the world that “good enough” is the Nigerian standard. There are even amazing sites out there that are vibecoded. If we don’t demand precision from our titans, we’ll wake up years from now with a tech ecosystem that looks exactly like our roads and infrastructures: it sha works.
Fola Olatunji-David@folasanwo

This Nomba site thing is genuinely baffling. All these faults are only noticeable to you “experts”. Yes, the design principles are valid and should be adhered to. But the base of design has and should always be functionality. Nobody is saying don’t be excellent in YOUR own work. But quite frankly on this matter you’re obsessing on the wrong things. It feels like mean spirited bullying, and that’s why I will fight you people on it. Both owner and customers have repeatedly said they don’t have an issue with this matter. Same funny behavior we’ve seen with designers on here redesigning peoples logos and products. Who sent you? If I say you should go build your own brand and design how you want now, they will call me agbaya. “It’s vibe-coded”, “It’s lazy”, “They could have done more”… the whole essence of AI tools is free you up to use your brain on your actual work. They are a fintech, not a graphics studio. I even saw the former designer comment under. Do you think it’s the business they were operating in 2023 they still do today? Why would they use the same site? - As an aside, the best founders build their solutions quickly and focus on distribution. This discuss just reminds me that people obsess too much on what wont be the decider.
