Working on reviving the Humble iCE FPGA project...

Quite thrilled to get 6 channel I2S mic + audio on USB UAC1 working on iCE40 FPGA. Only possible because of work by Wang Xuan (link below) which Claude helped me modify. This mic array project is something I wanted to attempt for a long time...

Around 2021, I spent over a year trying to write an introductory book on FPGAs. Ultimately I had to abandon the project because of other commitments. I am now starting to publish projects that I worked on. Here's the first one:

.@Raspberry_Pi Pico ePaper T/H display - works great, but sleep current is 4mA - it was < ~100 nA on breadboard, so something's off. Hardware is hard.🙂

Migrated my website from WordPress back to Jekyll/github (I go back & forth every few years) The difference this time was that it barely took an hour thanks to AI. Pulling data from multiple sources, fixing theme issues, generating placeholders - would've taken me weeks before!

Need to change the P MOSFET (AO3407) in my circuit - works at 4V but not 3V. Discovered while using the PPK2...

Got a Nordic PPK2 for low power current measurements. Neat little device!
