A lot of this progress was possible thanks to the leadership of Canada, Minister @FP_Champagne, and the strong role played by FATF Vice President Jeremy Weil. I want to thank him sincerely — and recognize the important contributions he is making to our collective mission.

I just returned from a very rewarding trip to the G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting. Opportunity to reinforce the central role @FATFNews and to make sure that global efforts to fight money laundering and terrorist financing remain high on the int agenda

Each organization has a unique mandate, but we’re part of the same ecosystem. At #CCPCJ, @FATFNews, @UNODC’s @GhadaFathiWaly & @INTERPOL_HQ’s Cyril Gout delivered a joint call: go after the profits of crime—together. Int’l cooperation must go beyond borders & across institutions.
