This will impact EVERYONE. Combined with other anti-protest measures proposed like bans on face coverings, the Crime and Policing Bill will see the right to protest in the UK stripped to the bone. Protest is fundamental to democracy. We must protect it. libertyhumanrights.org.uk/issue/governme…

Fatima Hassouna was a hugely talented Palestinian photographer and a youth advocate who endured living through the earth-shattering conflict in #Gaza. 1 month ago, she was killed by an Israeli airstrike, along with ten members of her family. This is her final message...

I honestly see Starmer as one of the most evil politicians of my lifetime because he's just completely empty. He doesn't believe in anything. Just power. No principles, no loyalty, no ambition for change. A petty, spiteful bureaucrat ready to sacrifice the vulnerable to rise.

After 2 years of conflict, #Sudan faces the world's largest humanitarian crisis. Without urgent action, it could lead to the worst famine in 40+ years. Millions are struggling, losing loved ones to conflict, hunger, and disease. Help #KeepEyesOnSudan ➡️ bit.ly/4jtP1uG

Everyone is talking about the #BlueOrigin space flight when we should be talking about #Sudan right here on Earth. This is the world's largest humanitarian crisis, with 16 million children in urgent need of aid. #KeepEyesOnSudan and demand action now!➡️ bit.ly/4jtP1uG

The Education Secretary has reportedly 'offered up' universal free school meals as well as free period products and dance, music and PE schemes as a way to save money. None of this cruelty is necessary. The Green Party would tax the super-rich fairly. Labour should do the same.

It’s worth really pausing on this: the Health Secretary is going on the BBC stating that people who have mental health conditions don’t really have them - they’re just being “over diagnosed” by doctors. This is beyond cuts to benefits. This is casting doubt on scientific reality.
BBC Politics@BBCPolitics

"There's an over-diagnosis [of mental heath problems]" Heath Secretary Wes Streeting says "there are too many people being written off" from work with mental health issues and "too many people aren't getting the support they need" #BBCLauraK bbc.in/4ktIwJQ

Keir Starmer to drive through welfare cuts for UK’s severely disabled people, 600,000 claimants could lose out on an average of £675 a month. Awful, inhumane. No cuts to corporate welfare, won't tax the rich. People sacrificed to gods of neoliberalism. theguardian.com/world/2025/mar…

And if you're not working, Keir Starmer wants it to be clear: Labour is reshaping the state to be even more insecure & hostile for disabled people. A total lack of compassion, humanity - at the same time refusing to even talk about the inequality which is breaking our country.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

If something isn’t working, I roll up my sleeves and fix it. I will reshape the state to deliver security for working people.

If they can disappear permanent residents, they can disappear citizens too, and it won’t stop at protesters. They’re using the issue of Palestine as a test run because they know democratic leadership will be slow to respond, allowing them to normalize abducting whoever they want

UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is. They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there. They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

'Balancing the books' on the backs of poor and disabled people was wrong when the Tories did it, and it would be wrong now. It’s a political choice - one that could push 700,000 households into poverty. Our government should instead tax the ballooning wealth of the super-rich.

🔄 Reversing girls' rights just doesn’t make sense. It leaves girls vulnerable and drives inequality – which benefits no one. Let’s stand together and prioritise girls’ rights for a more equal world. ✨

Disabled people are not reason for the country’s financial problems. Yet it’s our lives and our dignity that constantly gets attacked and abused. Why not go after the billionaires or huge corporations that don’t pay their tax and only take take take from everyone else?
