Several important proposals have been approved in the State Cabinet meeting to further accelerate and strengthen Odisha’s development journey. From administrative reforms and employee welfare to heritage conservation and the growth of the blue economy, our government continues to work relentlessly to strengthen every sector. These decisions will further propel our state towards the vision of a strong and developed Odisha.

#Odisha Government has prohibited strikes in power sector establishments across the State under the Odisha Essential Services (Maintenance) Act, 1988, to ensure uninterrupted generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. The order covers GRIDCO, OPTCL, OHPC, OPGC and DISCOM utilities, and will remain in force for six months from the date of issuance.
