My personal top 10 prospects at Single-A. Notes: -Seth Hernandez re-classified to High-A but would be #1 here. -Ethan Holliday probably moves back into the top 10 in my next prospect update.

Per sources, #Marlins 2025 first round draft pick SS Aiva Arquette is being promoted to Double-A Pensacola. Arquette is slashing .276/.333/.517 in 58 ABs with Beloit.

@NaeNaeTakes The article I quote tweeted from BA gave the increase in EVs. I was the one that was giving the full picture with the negative hitting traits which will make it tough to maximize those EVs in-game.

@Enforcer149 Obviously other parts matter. But that’s the point of giving the full picture and not just quoting his bad stats and leaving out the good ones.

The underlying stats aren’t encouraging: 18.7yo at the complex, 16.4% swinging strike rate, 89 wRC+, 22.6% K-rate, 9.7% BB-rate, .255/.323/.436 slash line, 56.1% GB-rate, 52.8% swing rate, 69% contact rate. Maybe he improves over time, but Low-A Modesto is a tough place to hit

@BurghB17 Small sample size and old for the level. It was the same argument for Mike Sirota last year. If Murf gets promotions and sustains the production, he will move up.
