Nomad made changes to the 2 types of eSIM plans we regularly use for people in Gaza. We used to get Nomad Regional Middle East plans, working with networks Pelephone, Partner & Hotmobile, 34 USD for a 10 GB plan This plan no longer exists & has been replaced by the MENA plan, working with networks Pelephone & Partner, 25 USD for 10 GB The 2nd type of Nomad plan working for some people in Gaza is the Is***l plan. It still exists but now works with the networks Pelephone & Cellcom and costs 19 USD for 10 GB (instead of 22 USD before) The good news is that they're both cheaper! One thing that can be problematic is that the hotmobile network isn't compatible with the MENA plans so if the user in Gaza is in an area where hotmobile is the strongest or only network available, Nomad isn't a solution anymore. Note that if you have an active Nomad Regional Middle East plan, you can still top it up and it is still supposed to work like before. So as long as it doesn't run out of data, you don't have to replace it with a new plan. If it runs out and the new MENA plan doesn't work, you'll need to get another type of eSIM. We've observed that Sparks eSIMs usually work well with hotmobile. We're sharing these details for people who buy eSIMs directly to support Palestinian families or to send them to @Connectinghu_ And we're also sharing for transparency because we want to always be clear on what we buy with the don@tions you send us :)

However, this project is being set up by a “former” Israeli Unit 8200 officer, with the goal of building a large network of contacts inside Gaza. He requires people to go through his project’s verification process before he will share their appeals. Please do not participate in this. There is no need to be verified by this former Israeli intelligence officer, and we strongly advise you against it. Many well-established and trustworthy initiatives are already successfully sharing and promoting appeals from Gaza. May God protect you and keep you safe from harm as you navigate these difficult times.
