Nothing to share. I’m no influencer, just a tired real person. Gardened all day, so I set out hoagie ingredients on paper plates and let everyone make their own. What’s a fast, no-cook dinner in Japan when you’re not in the mood to cook?

@ErinnFL ご飯を多めに炊いておいて冷凍保存しておくことで、電磁レンジで解凍して簡単に炊きたて同様のご飯を食べることが出来ます（専用の容器がありますが、無ければラップでも同じです） それに合わせるおかずには様々なものがありますが、ぬか漬け（漬物）や塩辛や煮物といった常備菜があります。

@ErinnFL そうですね。けっこうトッピングはなんでも乗せちゃえます。お茶の代わりにスープかけたりも。辛くする人も酸っぱくする人もいます

@Ohokobichi I make my own when I do soup but I think a lot of people eat canned or jar soup. I’m going to have to look and see if we have frozen. I’ve just never seen it.

@ErinnFL It's surprising that all the top global frozen food companies are overseas! Perhaps making soup from scratch is the norm there.🤔

@ErinnFL 韓国系の袋ラーメンですね！辛いのが好きならいいかも！　乾燥キャベツなどの湯戻しする具が家にあるなら、ラーメンを作る時に加えると野菜も食べられ、ボリュームも増えて更に良いです。

@yaumi_aki Thanks! I’ve never seen it. We might have a few curry options that are frozen or in a microwave pouch but not much.

@ErinnFL 日本は、お湯を注いで少し待てば食べられるカップ麺の種類がとても多いので、それで済ませたりするね。カップ焼きそばは、スープラーメンよりもボリュームがあって、そこそこお腹いっぱいになるよ。

@Ohokobichi It’s easy so it counts! 😆 Those look good! Does your soup come frozen? We have some canned soups or some refrigerated soups but I’ve never seen frozen.

@ErinnFL Is using a microwave acceptable? When I'm cooking alone, I sometimes just use frozen food. 🫡

@million_knights I love curry. We have a big frozen food section for microwave meals but the curry options can be limited.

@MKzK417 That looks great! I don’t think I’ve ever seen fermented beans before. I’d love to try them. I often do a veggie hoagie but tonight I had deli chicken, smoked Gouda, lettuce, onions, mayo and an herb oil.

@ErinnFL In Japan, natto gohan — fermented soybeans on hot rice. Just put it on the table and everyone eats. Zero effort. Your hoagie bar looks way better though! What's your favorite combo?

@ErinnFL 電子レンジで温めて食べられるご飯です。 そういったご飯は日本ではたくさんありますよ。 冷凍品もレトルト品も昔（30年以上前ですが ）は微妙なものが多かったけど、今はどれも良いですよ！

@ErinnFL I used to do “make your own onigiri” where I would lay out ingredients for everyone, when my kids were little.

@ErinnFL 私が火を使わない夕食で思いつくのは、冷凍食品、カップ麺、パスタ、レトルトカレーです。これらは電子レンジや電気ケトルがあれば食べられるので、とても便利です。私たち夫婦はどちらも会社で仕事をしていて料理をする時間がないので、これらをよく利用しています。

@ErinnFL おはようございます。 それが普通だと思います。アメリカニキ／ネキと日常を会話するだけでもとても楽しい日々となっています。 日本で料理する気分じゃない時は、スーパーやコンビニでお惣菜を買ってくる感じですかね。スーパーの閉店時間前は割引になるので争奪戦が繰り広げられてます。
