It's now been 3 hours since our supposed "ally" Donald Trump threatened genocide on a country of 93 million people. We've had absolutely nothing from the UK government. This doesn't come in a vacuum either - every day the US & Israel have been murdering innocent people.

with all due respect if you’re more into the extremely active creators on OF, go for it. because I promise you 95% of those extremely active accounts aren’t the creator, you’re talking to a management company. but go off & get mad because I have a life. 😊🧡

“I don’t understand why women don’t just report it if it really happened.” When I was 19, I reported mine. I had bruises. Hospital photos. Text messages of him apologizing the next morning. My friends drove me to the station because I could barely stop shaking. I thought evidence would make it simple. I thought truth would be enough. Months later, I was the one on trial. His lawyer printed my Instagram photos and held them up in court. Asked why I wore crop tops. Asked why I drank that night. Asked why I didn’t scream louder. He replayed my police interview and pointed out every time I hesitated, every time I cried, every time my timeline wasn’t perfectly linear. “If it was traumatic,” he said, “why can’t she remember clearly?” Sitting there while strangers debated my pain like it was a group project felt like being stripped again. My messages were projected on a screen. My body was described in detail. My character was picked apart like that was the real crime. He walked out on bail. I walked out with panic attacks. That’s why some women don’t report. Because even with bruises. Even with screenshots. Even when you do everything “right.” You still have to survive the assault twice, once in private, and once in public, just to maybe be believed.

With all due respect, there’s pyrotechnics on those stage. It’s forbidden to go on them for security reasons. There are barriers and signs. He totally did his job and was right by doing this. People are unconscious when it comes to disobey rules.

France made this wastefulness illegal cause it’s cruel and only causes more waste issues. Any food market or restaurant over 400 square meters has to donate all their good unsold food to charities and are fined if they do anything like this. That law should be applied everywhere
MatrixMysteries@MatrixMysteries

An American showed what his local Krispy Kreme does with unsold donuts at night. Straight into the trash. After private equity took over, the price of a dozen climbed to $22. And instead of selling them cheaper… They’d rather WASTE the food than lower the profit margin.

An actor has been injured. Their lead went through an unsecured window. The crew flagged black mold and possible asbestos at a location. But sure. They’re just “communist” agitators. A Dallas Sonnier production, ladies and gentlemen!

"When I started out on Broadway, 'Dreamgirls,' we lost half of our cast to AIDS." Sheryl Lee Ralph—famous for her breakout role in the original Broadway production of 'Dreamgirls' and her ongoing portrayal of the no-nonsense kindergarten teacher on the sitcom 'Abbott Elementary'—champions another kind of teaching through her decades-long work as an activist, particularly raising awareness about HIV/AIDS. Recently, in collaboration with the DIVA Foundation, the nonprofit she founded in 1990, Ralph executive-produced documentary special 'Living Proof' which highlights the experiences of Black women living with HIV in the South. Leading by example, Sheryl Lee Ralph is honored among TIME's 16 Women of the Year. Read her story and meet the honorees here: time-magazine.visitlink.me/UBKkCp

This whole situation embodies the aggressive lack of consent that all of AI is built upon. It just enables people to violate others - their rights, morals, dignity - over & over again, both in usage and consumption. AI is for people who can't stand the concept of permission.
Hedgie@HedgieMarkets

🦔Esquire Singapore published an AI-generated interview with Mackenyu, the actor who plays Roronoa Zoro in Netflix's live-action One Piece, because he was too busy to attend in person. The magazine fed transcripts from his previous interviews into Claude and Copilot to generate new responses, then published the result with a note that it was produced with AI and edited by humans. Mackenyu never responded to their emails and his talent agency has not promoted the piece. The AI-generated interview includes a passage about the pressures of living up to his late father, legendary action star Sonny Chiba. My Take There is a version of AI in journalism that makes sense. Transcription, research assistance, fact checking, summarization. This is not that. Esquire couldn't get an interview so they generated one using a model trained on things the subject had said before and published it as if it represented his current thoughts and voice. Mackenyu never agreed to this and almost certainly doesn't know it exists. Saying they had a driving need for a feature and had to be inventive should make every reader of any publication nervous about what they're actually reading. The driving need was a content slot. Inventing quotes from a real person and publishing them, regardless of what tool you used to invent them, is fabrication. Disclosing the AI involvement doesn't change that, and generating emotional statements about deeply personal subjects on someone's behalf without their consent is not a creative solution to a scheduling problem. Hedgie🤗
