Alongside all first responders, ETU lineworkers have a proud tradition of always standing ready to respond to a crisis. They always have, and they always will.

The ETU categorically refutes the Herald Sun's pathetic allegations; this is gutter journalism at its worst. ETU members across Victoria have worked night and day to restore power to our state. Work crews across the network were available to respond to outages.

We will continue to campaign to ensure that no matter your recreation, Victoria is the best place to enjoy the great outdoors.

We look forward to working with the Allan Government on practical and straightforward improvements to the practice and the future of the harvest. We thank the tens of thousands of Victorians who joined the campaign.

Our path to cheaper, cleaner energy is electrification. Today's announcement from @LilyDAmbrosioMP will save households money and reduce our emissions. Victoria is leading the way in electrifying the nation.
