@EversourceMA i know you just hires contractors to install these new smart meters but leaving this gap in the box to allow water and moisture to get inside is not wise. this is the level of work you guys do? you should send someone to adjust this, or assume that if anything happens I am suing @EversourceCorp for neglecting the box.

As we powered through the final stretch of restoration yesterday, our crews tackled the most demanding, hard-to-reach damage—setting poles from sunrise to sunset. They navigated deep snow with backyard track machines, and climbed high above frozen ground.

@EversourceMA The stress of worry about this and one of my neighbors houses or this one exploding keeps me awake at night and I honestly can't deal with this not being repaired anymore that we should be calling the state and an attorney general. I don't know what else to do to get it repaired

“The first day was bad because of the conditions, but today was the toughest,” a member of our field team said of tackling hundreds of complex, single-customer jobs. Today, crews hung miles of new wire and replaced an additional 42 transformers damaged by the historic blizzard.

Crews repaired service lines to customers’ homes and straightened leaning power lines like here in Provincetown. If you still don't have power, please report your outage so that we can send a crew to troubleshoot. We won't stop working around the clock until everyone's back on.

These smaller power outages often aren’t visible until we restore power to the larger sections of our electric system. When the lights come back on for most, we continue the detailed, labor-intensive work of tracking down individual service issues.

As we wrapped up restoration today, the outpouring of appreciation from our Cape and South Shore communities has meant the world to our team. New England storms can be tough. The teamwork and kindness of our communities are stronger. Thank you for weathering the storm with us.

Lance Marion is one of ~200 NH employees who came down to the Cape to help restore power after this historic blizzard. It’s been one of the more challenging restorations he’s been on, because the difficult road conditions have made it hard for them to get to trouble spots.
