Did #Fortnite really sell ten million Tung Tung Tung Sahur skins? ⚠️ Claims have been circulating that Epic Games sold over ten million skins in just 24 hours, however, these are completely unverified and should not be taken seriously. Exact skin sales figures are under tight lock and key at Epic Games, and almost never publicized... except once. Leaked court documents in 2021 suggested that Fortnite's first Marvel skins, including Black Widow, Star Lord, Deadpool, and the X-Force, made Epic roughly $80 million dollars. Initial collaborations with Star Wars and the NFL made roughly $50 million dollars. Accounting for platform taxes and other fees, ten million Tung Tung Tung Sahur skins sold would equate to around $100 million dollars. Even if Brainrot was the most popular media franchise of our generation... those numbers look unlikely. While the Brainrot collab was still likely a success - they were top sellers worldwide all weekend, even beating out the Phineas & Ferb collab in key regions like Japan and Australia - it's immensely unlikely that they sold anywhere near 10 million units.

Honkai x Fortnite was officially confirmed on February 6th by the Honkai social media account and with it came a confirmation date set for the 26th. Kernel hearts isn’t even a game that’s out yet there’s only recently been a demo released for it and the official social media page has 5k followers. While the official cyberpunk page has 1.8 million followers and it’s a triple A game that’s been available on the Epic Games store for 6 years now. It was first officially announced on March 6th. On March 18th we got another teaser the same day the weekly shop video was posted. On March 24th we got a single screenshot from a discord leak from a weekly shop video showing Adam Smasher to be dropping on the 24th which was the same day Epic Games laid off 1,000 employees. Everyone on Twitter was rightfully upset by the news and you had users saying it would be painfully tone deaf to release the collab based on its content. It was then decrypted on April 1st along with other collabs that have already all released by now of which all of them were announced after Cyberpunk x Fortnite had already been announced. It’s now April 6th and it’s been 3 weeks since we had a teaser or any update or any confirmation date whatsoever. This gotta be one of the worst advertising for a collab I’ve ever seen from this game.

@SmasherforFort when we get closer to the actual collab/when it actually happens, we'll get more. they havent discussed any collaboration, and im sure the reason for that is that epic explicitly told them they couldn't discuss collabs because of how sensitive that info is. just my assumption...
