Delhi: Telecom Secretary Amit Agrawal says, "...Indeed, it is India's digital platform, and this time we are going with a much larger theme that befits India's growth, the Indian industry's contribution, and the nation's contribution to the world in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. That is the theme we are here to launch today. In a sense, it is about India going global, and that is the theme we truly look forward to."

Delhi: Union MoS Chandra S. Pemmasani says, "...These 10 years of telecom transformation in India have been unprecedented. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various Telecom Ministers, including Ashwini Vaishnaw and, currently, my dynamic minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, we have connected every village with 4G, every district with 5G, and almost every citizen with a mobile phone at one of the lowest data rates in the world. This is a remarkable transformation. Especially over the last two years, after we took over the Telecom Ministry, we were able to launch our first indigenous 4G technology with close to 90% quality standards compared to established international players..."

There is an anecdote that many of you may not be aware of. Around 12 years ago, I was part of the team that was tasked with creating a sustainable model for COAI. It was then that we sat down and the idea of IMC was born—not only to host a national and international technology event, but also to make COAI sustainable. We have come a long way since then. Back then, it was a big dream with an equally big question mark over whether we would be able to achieve it or even pull off a technology event of that scale..."
