In September 2023, during a strong hurricane, a rescue diver was checking a flooded house.
The basement was full of dirty water, broken items, and debris.
At first, it looked completely empty.
Then the diver saw a dog’s eyes reflecting in his light.
The dog was alive but trapped inside the basement.
He was chained to a concrete pillar as the water rose.
The water was almost reaching his mouth, leaving very little air.
The diver called for help and tried to free the dog.
After struggling, he finally cut the chain.
The dog was extremely weak and collapsed from exhaustion.
The rescue team quickly brought him to safety.
The dog was later named Harbor.
Vets said he survived for hours by standing on his back legs.
He slowly recovered and was adopted by a family.
Now he is safe, but still gets scared during heavy rain.
The rescue team keeps his story as a reminder to never stop checking for life in disasters.

A dog failed his service dog exam, and was later seen at a train station carrying the reason why.
People at the station couldn’t stop staring when the dog walked onto the train with a stuffed elephant held proudly in his mouth.
At first, everyone thought it was part of his training.
But his owner started laughing and explained the truth.
The dog had been training to become a service dog, but during one of his final tests, he kept getting distracted by an elephant plushie nearby. Instead of staying focused, he tried to steal it like it was the only thing in the room that mattered.
That was the moment he failed.
But his owner said he couldn’t be mad. The dog had tried his best, and even if he wasn’t meant to be a service dog, he was still loyal, gentle, and full of love.
So before they left, he bought him the elephant toy.
That night, the dog didn’t pass the exam, but he still went home with the person who chose him anyway.

Under Donald Trump, ICE has become an abusive, rouge organization. Governors like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott have made local police departments into agents of that abuse.
Local law enforcement should reject partnering with ICE, and protect innocent people—like the Uzcategui-Labrador family in San Antonio—from being unlawfully detained.

Hungarian PM Péter Magyar said that the international community "didn't really do its job" and failed to "guarantee Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence" under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum.
"Now we need a peace agreement with real guarantees, security guarantees. I think it's crucial for Ukraine as well," he added.
Anton Gerashchenko@Gerashchenko_en
Prime Minister Péter Magyar backed Ukraine's right to self-defense and criticized the Budapest Memorandum. "Ukraine is a victim and has the right to defend itself by all possible means in order to preserve its territorial integrity and sovereignty," Péter Magyar emphasized.

Tillis: These people don't deserve restitution. Many of them deserve to be in prison. This is just stupid on stilts.
Reporter: Do you think you have colleagues that share the same concerns—
Tillis: They do and they need to speak up. This is beyond the pale. This is not good for my colleagues. There's not one positive thing that could be spun out of this between now and November. This is bad policy. It's bad timing, and it's bad politics

The sooner we receive enough donations to clear the feed bill, the sooner the Rhodes grass delivery will arrive for our rescued donkeys. We truly do not have time… 💔
So far, amazing supporters like you have helped us raise around £810, but we still urgently need the remaining payment cleared so the feed can finally reach our shelter.
These donkeys already suffered a lifetime of hunger, beatings, exhaustion, and pain on the streets. Please do not let them go hungry again after finally reaching safety.
Even £5 or £10 can help us get closer to their feed delivery if kind hearts come together. Please help us as urgently as possible. 🙏

Jon Stewart: “We’re in the upside down. The Trump administration is a smash and grab on the American public. It is the most corrupt, utterly unsheathed, unleashed on us and they are just grabbing whatever they can and pretending that it’s remuneration for some victimhood they faced that’s all fictitious. It’s nonsense”

💔💔💔UNWANTED INNOCENT SCARED PUPPIES 💔💔💔
Six tiny babies… only two weeks old… ripped away from the only comfort they’ve ever known, their Mother.
Left behind like they meant nothing. Unwanted. Unloved. Limerick 😡
At just two weeks old their eyes are barely open, their bodies still fragile, they are filthy, still needing the warmth of their Mammy beside them. Instead, they were discarded and left for rescue to clean up the heartbreak once again💔💔💔
What could we do? Turn our backs? Leave them to suffer? We had no choice but to step in.
Within hours our team scrambled to organise emergency transport, bottles, formula, supplies and a foster willing to take on the exhausting round the clock feeds and care these babies desperately need to survive.
Refusal to surrender the poor mother dog. 😡Refusal to even allow her to be neutered so this cycle of suffering can finally end 😡😡😡
And still… despite all of this… there is no accountability. No remorse. No empathy for the innocent lives brought into this world only to be thrown away 💔💔💔😡😡😡
We are heartbroken. We are angry. We are exhausted from seeing innocent animals pay the price for human irresponsibility over and over and over again.😡😡
But right now, these six little souls are safe. They will be protected, cherished and loved for the rest of their lives ❤️
A huge thank you to Lorna and her amazing family who, without a second hesitation, opened their home and hearts to these babies. Fosterers like them are the reason these puppies have a chance at life ❤️❤️
Please, if you can help us continue saving lives like these, donate today. Every euro helps us fight for the ones nobody else wanted ❤️

The "micro single-payer" reason dogs are the perfect first market
"Save the dogs, save the world" — Loyal's Tesla-style master plan
The September 2019 FDA pathway change that made the entire company possible
Why big dogs die young (growth hormones that never turn off)
Caloric restriction mimetics — the second drug, for dogs of any size
Why drug development is mostly logistics and economics, not science
Scenario planning the next five years of biotech
Why Loyal is AI-resistant and AI-amplified
Being fired (and rehired) from the longevity fund — twice
Bottom 10% of her high school class → Oxford → dropping out six months from her PhD

🇨🇿🇺🇦 A “bad peace” for Ukraine would have consequences for decades, says Czech President Petr Pavel
“If Ukraine wins, Europe will be safer. But if Ukraine is forced into a bad peace, we will all feel the consequences for decades… If we compete against each other within Europe, or between Europe and the United States, we may lose to China and other global competitors,” he emphasized.
Petr Pavel described Kyiv as one of Europe’s strongest defense players — a country that has transformed modern warfare through resilience, battlefield experience, and technological innovation.
According to him, supporting Ukraine is an investment in Europe’s future security.

🇨🇦🇺🇦🇷🇺 CANADA KNOWS WHERE IT STANDS
“We will be cooperating with other partners in critical areas like Ukraine, where it's outside of direct NATO responsibility but consistent with our values as Canada. We stand there, Ukraine is going to triumph, and we're going to be on the right side of history for that.”- Carney 🇨🇦
That is the line.
Ukraine is not some side issue for democracies to admire from a distance.
Canada gets it: help the country fighting the invasion, stay with the people resisting it, and don’t confuse hesitation with wisdom.
History will remember who stood up when it mattered.
