This case once again raises serious concerns over the nexus between India’s notorious intelligence agency RAW and overseas coercive criminal networks using intimidation, extortion and violence driven pressure tactics. Established facts: • X metadata publicly identifies @BRICSinfo as “Affiliated with Watcher Guru.” • Watcher Guru operates as a crypto/financial news website focused on rapid market and financial news dissemination. • The @BRICSinfo account presents itself under BRICS branding despite no official BRICS representation. • X account metadata shows the account has undergone 11 username changes, raising transparency and identity continuity concerns. • The account is listed as US-based while operating under BRICS branding. • The same account circulated an unverified and misleading claim regarding Pakistan’s Field Marshal. Based on available evidence, portraying @BRICSinfo as an official or independent BRICS news platform is misleading. The account’s affiliation with Watcher Guru, repeated identity changes and dissemination of unverified claims raise serious concerns about credibility and transparency. The account presenting itself as BRICSinfo appears to function as an Indian propaganda-linked account, affiliated with Watcher Guru, a crypto-financial platform whose own transparency remains questionable, making its claim of credibility highly doubtful.

In reality, Muhammad Yaqoob was a civilian martyred during India’s missile strike on Bilal Mosque in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, on 7 May last year. The visit took place as part of Marka-e-Haq commemorative engagements.

The audio and visuals are fabricated for engagement and do not represent any authentic statement. The content traces back to the 𝐓𝐢𝐤𝐓𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 “𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐬” (𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲.𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐬𝟎), which is known for posting 𝐀𝐈-𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬 rather than factual news reporting.

Another coordinated cognitive attack by RAW, GDI & MOSSAD propaganda accounts against Pakistan. The claim that a serving Pakistan Army Major was arrested with narcotics is completely false. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 from a KP excise police operation in Mardan/Nowshera, where a civilian named 𝐈𝐪𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐢, 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐬 “𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐪𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐢,” (𝐅𝐚𝐤𝐞) was arrested while wearing a fake army uniform with around 60kg of hashish. The same fake narrative has already been recycled multiple times before by hostile propaganda accounts including @FrontalForce and @burhan_uddin_0 to target Pakistan and its institutions.

FACT CHECK: Indian propaganda accounts are recycling old videos with misleading religious audio overlays to push a fake and baseless narrative aimed at maligning Pakistan. Reality: Pakistan’s Interior Ministry has already issued clarification, and UAE authorities have also stated that no deportations were carried out on the basis of any specific sectarian affiliation. Repackaging old content with false claims is a clear case of disinformation.
