Coffee is at the heart of Uganda’s agricultural story and on Friday, we had the privilege of learning it from the ground up. Our Vocational Tour took us to a coffee farm hosted by our own Rtn @KBarigye, who generously opened his doors and shared firsthand insights.. #thread 1/2

We were entertained to a Vocational Tour by Rtn @KBarigye and his family as their home in Mityana. We learnt all about the entire coffee value chain and how commercial farming can be made viable. Thanks to those who joined us and thanks Rtn Ken for the hospitality! #RotaryEyamba

We are celebrating the charters of two new clubs: The 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐚, a corporate club, and 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐞, a community-based club. In my language, having twins means you become a Salongo. Today, our District is a Salongo, with more people ready to serve, more leaders, and the promise of even greater impact. #RotaryEyamba

While at our Annual DGs’ Luncheon, DG @GKitakule and DG @KyeyuneKawooya shared the discipline behind the achievements, the systems that sustain momentum and the lessons learned along the way. As John C. Maxwell notes, “Growth is the only guarantee that tomorrow will be better.”
