It sounds like some people don’t know just how good Jordyn Brooks is… I don’t think there was a better LB in football last season, that’s all I’ll say.

(I don’t think Cooper Jr. or Lawrence will be there at those picks to be fair)

The Dolphins have 7 picks in the top 100, they have plenty of resources to build the trenches

@FinsCentral I’m good on that. Build inside out. Get Jeremiah Smith next year

I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about Makai Lemon’s size, especially from Dolphins fans. Here are 10 of the better receivers in the NFL that are close to him in size: Amon-Ra St. Brown: 5’11 | 197 pounds Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 6’0 | 197 pounds Tyreek Hill: 5’10 | 191 pounds Jaylen Waddle: 5'10 | 185 pounds Ladd McConkey: 6'0 | 186 pounds Zay Flowers: 5’9 | 183 pounds Garrett Wilson: 6'0 | 183 pounds Stefon Diggs: 6’0 | 195 pounds Chris Olave: 6’0 | 187 pounds Devonta Smith: 6’0 | 170 pounds First off, I think he plays bigger than a lot of the guys listed here. Secondly, after trading Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins shouldn’t need to prioritize size as much in their WR room. Obviously if you get a guy like Lemon you’d want to add someone bigger on day 2/3 as well, but they should be more open to any type of WR now that Waddle’s gone.

The Dolphins are reportedly hosting Makai Lemon on a 30 visit. His skillset is so intriguing. The work he does after the catch is special. Pair that with his route running ability and how good he is at the catch point, he’s such a well rounded prospect.

There are a lot of potential EDGE options for the Dolphins early in the draft. There’s a good chance Bain, Bailey and Reese are all gone before pick 11 so I’m not sure if it happens there, but at 30 or 43 I could see it. Akheem Mesidor TJ Parker Cashius Howell Zion Young Keldric Faulk Malachi Lawrence Mason Thomas Derrick Moore Romello Height A lot of interesting options.

The medicals are obviously a concern, but the movement skills and route running ability from Jordyn Tyson at 6’2, 200+ pounds is so intriguing…

Something that was interesting in one of his first interviews as the Dolphins GM, Jon-Eric Sullivan brought up De’Von Achane, Aaron Brewer, Jordyn Brooks, and Patrick Paul when talking about the pieces he liked on this team. He didn’t bring up Jaylen Waddle in that group. (He did talk about him later when @WingfieldNFL brought him up, but definitely interesting to think about in hindsight)

Signing Malik Willis makes ZERO sense unless the Dolphins fully overhaul this WR room in the draft IMO… You have 7 picks in the top 100, have to do something about the room or else paying Willis to throw to a bunch of veteran minimum guys just doesn’t seem like good business.

The top 3 WRs in the draft are all very talented with unique skill sets. Carnell Tate is a big body vertical threat, that is also a really impressive route runner. Jordyn Tyson also has some good size to him and is arguably the best route runner in the class. He has some injury concerns but the fluidity he plays with is phenomenal. Makai Lemon is on the smaller side, but he plays bigger than his size. Awesome at the catch point and after the catch.

Dolphins current WR core: Jalen Tolbert Tutu Atwell Malik Washington Tahj Washington Theo Wease Jr. Terrace Marshall Jr. AJ Henning I’d be absolutely shocked if they don’t get a WR in round 1, and they could double dip on day 2/3 as well.

A WR at pick 11 seems like a very real possibility now… Carnell Tate Jordyn Tyson Makai Lemon All 3 are really good players with different playstyles, going to be interesting to see what happens.
