Today, Data Elementary hosted the FUSD Literacy Showcase, opening classrooms to highlight strong instruction and engaged learning. With a goal of every student reading by third grade, we welcomed neighboring districts, including Rialto USD, to collaborate.

During Black History Month, we asked our Fontana Unified School District community to share which Black leaders have inspired them or become their personal heroes. Their responses were meaningful and moving.

💙 The Great Kindness Challenge Week 💙 January 26–30, 2026 Our scholars at Mango Elementary School showed how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

In recognition of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we extend our sincere gratitude to the men and women of the Fontana School Police Department. Thank you for your service, leadership, and daily efforts to keep our school communities safe and supported.

Our FUSD Champion of the Week is our Kitchen Operator at Juniper Elementary, Kristine Valencia!! For 16 years, Kristine has been a shining light to our students and staff with her warm smile and her quick sense of humor.

FUSD is excited to partner with Project Boon for the Kick-off the Summer Event! Join us for free groceries and summer supplies for kids, Saturday, May 31 starting at 10am (while supplies last). Distribution will take place at the district office parking lot.

FUSD Summer Meals are Back! Join us for our Kick-off BBQ tomorrow, May 30 from 11am to 1pm at Fontana Park! Free meals for all children 18 and under.
