Easy to see why these are called plums and custard fungi (Tricholomopsis rutilans or red-haired agarics). There are some amazing finds @Fotahouse at the moment, a wonderful place for mycologists! 🍄

Keeping the flames was a labour intensive role for housemaids whose daily routine began well before dawn. @johnstowncastle had 40+ fireplaces and burned 40 tonnes of coal per week! 1/2
