@FoxySwapNet @vmiss33 It runs good even on a shoebox with fans, that's not the issue. The issue is that independent of whatever host OS you are using to run harnesses like Hermes, the potential for it to do damage to the host is pretty high. Use it and confine it to proper isolated vms 👌

@vmiss33 @MyOwnerBites Can use it on Windows now with WSL2, add hermes-workspace and you have a very good UI to go with it. It was built for linux so very stable in WSL2 with Ubuntu, and pretty easy to setup.

@MyOwnerBites Yeah I hear you. I’m not a huge fan of windows but I have a windows laptop with a GPU in it so why not…and a lot of people do use windows so to me I’m excited to mess around with it because it puts the tech in that many more people’s hands

Not sure, because the CUA X shows this... "We're open-sourcing Cua Driver - our new macOS driver..." so maybe just on Mac for now... and... Yes, I was just looking at the Windows docs, not sure I'd want to do that... I am on windows but using WSL2/Ubuntu and very happy with it, this will work better with my setup Hermes / Claude working together.

@FoxySwapNet I’m not 100% sure, as I’m just getting home from work and just about to dig into the docs. I assume it does though, as Hermes is built on Linux. They also just put out a beta Windows version for Hermes itself.
