🏗️ Earlier this week, FHS Construction II students toured the active FHS construction site with @CDSmithInc, learning about skilled trades, apprenticeship pathways, & the planning behind major projects -- including behind-the-walls look at construction in progress! 🖤💛

👏✨ 55 Robinwood students were recognized yesterday by the Southwest Milwaukee Optimist Club for their leadership and hard work throughout the year! They received certificates, congratulations from school leaders, & even a surprise treat from Oscar’s Frozen Custard! 🍦💛

Congrats to @FranklinSabers Abby Spragg who was named Distinguished Young Woman of Franklin 👏Additional honors for Isabella Pangga, Sancy Arora, Sonyaa Dalal, Helena Beckmann, & Kohenoor Kaur for their outstanding performances across several categories. Around $4600 awarded!

On Mon, current and future 4K families joined us at the Community Education & Recreation Center (CERC) for a 4K Family Engagement Event. 4K kiddos got to play in the small gym, color sheets, meet with teachers, & share their school pride. Thank you to all who came out!

CultureFest took place on Mon night & the turnout was amazing! Thank you to all of the students and community volunteers! Thank you to all community members that came out & joined us! It was great to see everyone of all ages & backgrounds sharing at the event! #BetterCommunity

👏✨ Forest Park 8th graders recognized by the South Milwaukee Optimist Club! Student Council leaders were honored for their collaboration & commitment, received certificates, and enjoyed a sweet surprise 🍦 💛 Celebrating student leadership and “bringing out the best in kids!”

Last week, @FranklinSabers Project Lead The Way Principles of Biomedical Science students were trained by Franklin Fire Dept for "Stop the Bleed" certification! Students worked on applying direct pressure, bandaging, tourniquet application, and wound packing!! Thank you!🩸

Sunday - 55 @FranklinSabers National Honor Society members participated in their annual Spring Road Clean Up - 51st Street from Rawson to Puetz & Drexel Ave from 68th to 35th. Thank you students & to City of Franklin for the Adopt-A-Roadway program! #BetterCommunity

Congrats to @FranklinSabers educators Allison Umhoefer (Music) & Mary Piwaron (Social Studies) on being named 2026 Herb Kohl Teacher Fellows! Chosen from 1,200+ nominations, they’re recognized for leadership & impact on students. Each receives $6K + a $6K school grant. 👏

@FranklinSabers Student Senate hosted a @redcrossofwisconsin Blood Drive earlier this week at FHS. The event had around 50 donations. Stewardship like this, lead by our students only helps us to fully be a #BetterCommunity. THANK YOU to all our volunteers and donors!

🏗️🎨 FHS Design Capstone students got a real-world look at architecture & interior design with PRA during a visit tied to the high school construction project! From career paths to design decisions & materials, students explored it all! 🖤💛

👮‍♂️🐾 FHS sophomores learned about careers in law enforcement from Franklin PD officers—plus a visit from therapy dog Clover! Even better: Clover met Sadie, FHS’s therapy dog… instant best friends. 🐾🍌 Real-world learning in action! 🖤💛
