Nobody tells you the hardest part about quitting something you’ve done for most of your life happens after you quit. For my whole adult life, cs was the only thing I ever truly cared about. Every routine I had, every goal, most of the people I talked to, everything in my life somehow revolved around CS, i feel like my identity was cs. Now I work, I study, I try to keep busy, but I still feel empty all the time? I keep trying to find new things and hobbies to care about, but nothing feels interesting and I end up comparing everything to competing. How does people find new things that makes them happy and gives them some kind of purpose?

Every year I make the most-viewed vlog around the "Fortnite World Cup" and this year I don’t even have access to the player area, where all the best content is being made. Not even talking about the millions of views across TikTok, Shorts, Reels, etc. And the Twitch livestreams with thousands of people watching live. Kinda sad that all of this just doesn’t seem to be appreciated at all.

funny how some players think they have the right to a renegotiation as soon as they achieve a good result somewhere. you signed a contract, they dont have to renegotiate with you, and you have no right to stop tagging them and look for an org just because you want a renegotiation. orgs also hold the risk of a player not performing like they expected, and in that case they cant just instantly drop the player either, there is risk on both sides of the table next time, try to negotiate a salary increase clause into your contract if you qualify for globals and/or summit LAN for example you didnt qual grands, your best placement is 12th out of 5 div cup finals this year, there is a decent chance you dont even make it out of lower bracket, why do you think you are worth much more now? be more professional

@Richytoons I think Fortnite is in a very unique spot where they should only boost prizepool and not support orgs directly. The branding behind Fortnite is so big that any scandals regarding the orgs would be tremendous.

Hopefully, so many esports adopt the model of skins paying the prize pool or part of it, or even the teams/players directly. Always wondered why fortnite is so stubborn in supporting fortnite esports.
