⚠️FACT CHECK⚠️ Recent comments made by Gary Lineker, regarding the UK governments "Illegal Immigration Bill", were not broadcast by him on the BBC. They were in fact posted in a message on Twitter.

Anyone at the BBC who publicly defends @GaryLineker is hailed as a virtuous defender of freedom and morality. Anyone at BBC defending BBC impartiality rules will be attacked as an evil, Tory, refugee-hating bigot. So freedom of speech is just for the *right* kind of opinions.
