@AaronNagler @MitchSchwartz71 @Warhogs56 Bingo. You have to be willing to accept that. I think for some of us the complexity of the game is one of the most appealing things about it, and to be faced with said humility. For others, it is a barrier to entry to real understanding. I try to know early who I'm talking to.

All I know is I joined a COOL Clinic once where Adam Stenavich spent over 30 minutes on one single rep, pointing out the difference in technique between Bakhtiari and a rookie at guard and I realized how little I knew after being pretty confident in my o-line knowledge up to that point. It was pretty humbling.
English

@Warhogs56 Alright but if we're gonna quote it let's be precise with the quote: "C'mon, Dorn, get in front of the damn ball! Don't give me this *O-LE* bullshit!!"
English

"Don't give me any of that OLE bullsh*t, Dorn."

Q1: If your offensive line could only communicate using movie quotes during the game, what quote would be the official OL Call? #hogfbchat
English

@MitchSchwartz71 @AaronNagler Indeed. Because my best man @Warhogs56 was an OL and I first started learning deeper about the game from him, I have long lamented this. To your point, I think a good bit of it is just that it's not a fantasy football position. (There's a beach muscles analogy here somewhere.)
English

It is interesting that it seems there aren’t many non football guys of some capacity that do OL stuff well. Maybe the OL Twitter Community of Bullies dissuades people from doing more, or it’s just not a fun position to make as a focal point. But there’s lots of great analysts (players or not) for lots of other positions and I don’t see many in the OL space.
English

@Manflo619 @MoveTheSticks Good question. Maybe not since going to 12. But if you're just trying to force guys to play in the Poulon Weedeater Bowl I'm not sure that's bolstering the quality of the playoff.
English

@FtblSickness @MoveTheSticks I don’t think any player opted out of the 12 team playoff, any names?

@Manflo619 @MoveTheSticks Guys have opted out of CFB games too. It's not the bowls. It's the money on Sunday. (Yes, there are too many pointless bowls, but who cares?)
English

@MoveTheSticks @FtblSickness I disagree, no one plays in the meaningless bowl games hopefully this changes that
English

#FFIDP Surprised they didn’t take him in the first if he was their top rated guy.
I mean, I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts outta the gate.

Just listen to Dolphins senior defensive assistant Joe Barry discuss how coveted LB Jacob Rodriguez was for Miami in the draft. Coaches are raving about the second-round pick. (🎥 Miami Dolphins)

@_PeteSmith_ Come to think of it, how has "Browns trade for franchise QB" gone?
English

How did trading Paul Warfield for Mike Phipps go?
DagoDAWG@dagoDAWG42
@_PeteSmith_ Do you trade Myles for a franchise QB? Thats the only Q worth contemplating.
English

@MikeRegaladoLA Boy do they know what we want when we go to the beach

Make that three big things I didn't love about the Ravens' offseason (dismantling Harbaugh infrastructure, Crosby fiasco). They're the Ravens and thus, they correctly get the benefit of the doubt. But the ratio of benefit and doubt, at least for me, has shifted a good bit.
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate
#Chargers RB Keaton Mitchell says he was shocked the Ravens had no interest in bringing him back — to the point that neither he nor his agent even heard from them. "I was surprised. I ain't gonna lie."
English

@fakecorykinnan Nice. (*Are you aware that that image is Joey explaining that he employed the "smell the fart" acting technique he had recently learned?)
