Great news: ‘In Gateshead, an extension to an existing heat network funded in Round 3 of HNIP will connect an additional 1,250 new homes using geothermal heat from a mine water heat pump.’

Beautiful walk around Margam park and finally got to see the hydropower scheme - the water wheel is called ‘Delyth’ I even got a badge. Produces enough for whole park but has been waiting for spare part since may - so no low carbon electricity since then 🤦
