The last visit today was to Topp Trains in Stafford! Located in Stafford (which remains a great place to observe the real railway), Topp Trains is an Aladdin’s Cave of model railway products. Beautifully presented and well stocked, this model railway specialist is well worth the visit. Fun fact : Mike is the reason we started importing Kadee couplings, so although persuasive, he knows his stuff, and you won’t regret taking his advice. We certainly didn’t! #keeponrailwaymodelling

Today we are at Widnes Model Centre ... Its a busy model shop who stock model railways, scalextric, model kits, radio control and a huge selection of other modelling materials. With years of knowledge to impart, this engaging family business is a must when in the area. We can't wait to return, Fun Fact - Tom (who works in the business) was the youngest fully qualifies jet ski instructor in the country at the mere age of just 15! #keeponrailwaymodelling
