#Resist #FBR. Any public official who still thinks Trump is fit to serve as POTUS isn't fit to serve as a public official either.

That is excellent. Great sense of humor
Lovable Liberal and his Old English sheepdog@DougWahl1
My son is taking part of in a social experiment. He has to wear a MAGA hat and record how people react to him. So far, on the first day, he has been spit on, yelled at, and had water tossed in his face. I am curious to see what will happen when he finally leaves the house!

@RoxaneLGibson1 Non-citizens are afraid to go to the grocery store. Republicans want you to believe that they go to the polls to vote. Wake up.

Could you imagine disenfranchising tens of millions of Americans with nothing more than a scribble of a signature on a piece of paper?
Could you imagine stripping something so fundamental from people - something that could reshape the rest of their lives and change their stars in an instant?

Well, that's exactly what the SAVE Act would do.
it would:
🔹Require strict documentary proof of citizenship (like a passport or original birth certificate) for voter registration in federal elections
🔹Effectively end most online and mail-in registration options by demanding in-person document presentation
Create massive new barriers for millions who lack easy access to these documents -
🔹Young people,
🔹Seniors,
🔹Married women with name changes,
🔹Rural voters, and
🔹Lower-income Americans
🔹Force many to travel long distances or pay fees just to prove they're eligible to vote
This isn't protecting elections. It's making it dramatically harder for everyday citizens to have their voice heard.

Dr. Jonathan Reiner: "The president has severe daytime somnolence. He falls asleep very often. He's fallen asleep in the Oval Office on multiple occasions with people talking to him in the cabinet room, and I was concerned yesterday that he might have fallen asleep at Arlington National Cemetery during Memorial Day observances. Chronic insomnia is a severe illness. It can result in an increase in risk of dementia, decrease in cognitive effects in older people."

Over a million acres of pristine wilderness lakes in Minnesota.
The most visited canoe country in America.
Generations of families have paddled it, fished it, camped it.
The Senate just sold it out outright.
They called it "America First."
Then handed it to a Chilean billionaire — so his company can ship the copper to China.
The Senate voted 50-49 to gut 20 years of Boundary Waters mining protections.
Here's the deal they made.
A Chilean billionaire's company digs the mine.
America can't smelt the copper — we don't have the capacity.
So the ore ships to China.
China processes it.
Sells it on the world market.
Chile keeps the profits.
Minnesotans don't even get the jobs.
Minnesota keeps the pollution.
And Americans get to buy it back from China at full market price.
This same company has a documented history at their Chilean mines: pipeline spills, regulatory fines, and locals fighting back for years.
They paid a former Trump Interior Secretary $380K.
The protection died by one vote.
Here's exactly how it happened — and who made it happen.
Who do YOU think this mine actually serves?

HOLY CRAP Trump actually accomplished a miracle. Here is what he got out of Iran:
- Reduce its stockpile of enriched uranium by about 98%
- Limit uranium enrichment to 3.67% purity (far below weapons-grade)
- Cut the number of installed centrifuges by roughly two-thirds
- Only enrich uranium at one declared site (Natanz)
- Stop enrichment activities at Fordow and convert it into a research facility
- Redesign the Arak heavy-water reactor so it could not easily produce weapons-grade plutonium
- Ship out or dilute excess enriched uranium
Allow extensive inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
Permit continuous monitoring of nuclear facilities and supply chains
- Accept “snap” inspections under expanded monitoring rules
- Avoid building new heavy-water reactors for years
- Stay within strict limits on uranium stockpile size and centrifuge development for set periods ranging from 10–25 years
Ooops, sorry!
That was the JCPOA that Obama signed with Iran, only to have him tear it up, kill 140 kids, get hundreds of Americans injured, 13 killed, and gas prices to surge 50%.

Right on the heels of scientists discovering that a very potent peptide in bee venom can rapidly destroy aggressive cancer cells- esp the kind in breast cancer- our govt's decided to close the nation's Bee Research Lab in Maryland.
I swear to you, they want us all dead.
Particularly women.
This admin's depravity knows no bounds.

This New York Times piece is worth your time. Here’s what is happening, as simply as I can put it.
Back in January, Trump sued the IRS, an agency he controls, demanding $10 billion over the leak of his tax returns a number of years ago.
IRS lawyers did their jobs. They wrote a memo laying out the defenses that could beat the suit, including the fact that Trump filed too late. His own lawyer was in court when the leaker pleaded guilty in October 2023, more than two years before Trump sued.
The Justice Department never showed up to court. Never argued back. Never used the defenses sitting on their desk.
The judge got suspicious and ordered both sides to explain whether they were actually opposing each other or just colluding. The day before that brief was due, Trump dropped the suit.
Same day, his Justice Department announced a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded “anti-weaponization fund.”
Trump gets a formal apology. The IRS agrees to drop any audits of him and his family, even though a 2024 Times report found a loss in an ongoing audit could cost him over $100 million.
The acting Attorney General, Trump’s former criminal defense attorney, picks the five commissioners who decide who gets paid. Trump can fire any of them. Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are not ruled out.
This is the most corrupt thing I’ve ever seen from an American president.
Where in the hell are my Republican colleagues?

Trevor Milton defrauded investors to the tune of 30 billion. He personally kept 7 billion. He was found guilty and sentenced to prison for 4 years.
He never served a day.
He donated a few million to trump. Then trump issued a pardon. Which meant his debtors would not be forced to be paid. He declared bankruptcy but somehow is still a billionaire.
He is now trying to sell a shit biz jet and is already exaggerating its specs.

Trump sued his own government for $10 billion. Today he settled with the DOJ he runs and cut the judge out of the process.
The deal: a $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund his Attorney General controls, with no court oversight and no transparency. It’s the most corrupt scheme of his presidency.

I’m sorry what? Duffy and Trump quietly CUT air traffic control staffing targets?? This is absurd.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar
Buttigieg on Sean Duffy: "I love roadtrips. I love America. I actually took a taxpayer-funded roadtrip lasted about 7 months. It was in Afghanistan. This is something very different. To make roadtrips unaffordable and then go around celebrating your own roadtrip is actually what people are so frustrated about."

Rep. Magaziner plays video of Doug Burgum boasting about wind energy production in North Dakota while he was governor.
Magaziner: Were you wrong as governor to expand wind energy? Why don’t other states around the country deserve the same? We do. We deserve access to these wind and solar projects that you are blocking.
