Calling all Commercial airline pilots: Chuck Yeager had your back again! Chuck Yeager championed commercial pilots in October 1985 by testifying against the "Age 60 Rule." Before the House Select Committee on Aging, he argued that mandatory retirement was economically unsound. Yeager proposed replacing age-based grounding with individual proficiency tests, such as medical exams and flight simulators. Supporting experts even suggested healthy pilots could remain capable until age 80. #ChuckYeager liveandletsfly.com/airline-pilot-…

🚨 President Trump just dropped this gem! Trump saved America $298 MILLION on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool: The historic pool, where MLK gave his “I Have a Dream” speech, was a leaking, filthy disaster. Government bureaucrats wanted $300 MILLION and 3+ years to rip it up. Trump said hell no. Called in real pool experts, scrubbed the original granite, sealed it, and topped it with American Flag Blue industrial coating. ✅ $1.5–2 MILLION ✅ Done in 2 weeks ✅ Will last 40–50 years and look better than 1922 This is how you run government like a business. Promises kept! Taxpayer dollars saved!

Brigadier General Chuck Yeager commanded the 405th Fighter Wing from 1966 to 1968, where he flew over 127 combat missions in the Martin B-57 Canberra bomber in Vietnam. Although primarily a fighter pilot, Yeager utilized the B-57 for close air support and interdiction missions. Though his command included several types of aircraft, the B-57 became his preferred choice for combat operations.

General Yeager was asked to support the USAF retaining the A-10. He replied he could not since it is one of the few military airplanes he hadn't flown. That's how much integrity he had. But after hearing from so many how great & useful a plane it is & seeing footage of it wiping out the enemy while we were in Afghanistan visiting the troops, I'm glad to read this: airandspaceforces.com/air-force-dela… #ChuckYeager #USAF #A10 #a10warthog

The General Chuck Yeager Legacy Foundation is looking for a powerhouse attorney in Ohio for pro bono or contingency work. We are addressing the alleged misappropriation/mishandling/commingling of our endowment fund by Women in Aviation International (WAI) and have serious concerns regarding their broader fiscal management under current leadership. If you specialize in non-profit fiduciary disputes, please reach out. Help us protect General Yeager's legacy. @WomenInAviation

TRUE!!! Highlighting the life and careers of new RAeS Members and Fellows, we talk to self-employed experimental test pilot and new Member, ARIE SLAGTER MRAeS. Who is your biggest inspiration? ARIE: Of course, my biggest inspiration is Chuck Yeager. Although flight testing has (luckily) changed over the years, as nowadays each test is prepared and well defined with every possible risk mitigated, the mentality and drive of a test pilot is still the same as in the old days. Trademarks of an experimental test pilot: being curious about new things, asking questions, being able to get the most out of a system and creating a safe environment for (future) operators. This is what Chuck Yeager stood for. #ChuckYeager #inspiration

🚨 URGENT SAFETY ALERT 🚨 Victoria Yeager, widow of aviation legend Chuck Yeager, joins Kitty O’Neal on KFBK at 6:17pm today, April 6, 2026, to issue a dire warning: Ultralight aircraft at Yuba County Airport are putting lives at risk. A formal petition has been escalated to U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy to halt these operations immediately. Local pilots and safety advocates argue that mixing unregulated ultralights with conventional airport traffic is a recipe for disaster. "It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when." Don't miss this critical interview tonight. #KFBK #ChuckYeager #YubaCounty #AviationSafety #iHeartRadio #Olivehurst @seanhannity @USDOT @SecDuffy @POTUS @realDonaldTrump

All together? No. Ultralights at Yuba County airport may be in violation of FAR-103. One huge problem also is that there are no required identifying marks on these aircraft so they cannot be reported for violating FAR-103. This is very problematic and dangerous for everyone if ultralights do not need to know the rules when flying in an airport's air space. § 103.7 Certification and registration. (a) Notwithstanding any other section pertaining to certification of aircraft or their parts or equipment, ultralight vehicles and their component parts and equipment are not required to meet the airworthiness certification standards specified for aircraft or to have certificates of airworthiness. (b) Notwithstanding any other section pertaining to airman certification, operators of ultralight vehicles are not required to meet any aeronautical knowledge, age, or experience requirements to operate those vehicles or to have airman or medical certificates. (c) Notwithstanding any other section pertaining to registration and marking of aircraft, ultralight vehicles are not required to be registered or to bear markings of any type.

@rochte We only know about the configuration of Yuba but most airports, it most likely would be unsafe to fly anywhere near the airport pattern, the runways, the taxiways... Remember no license, education, training, medical, aircraft id, radios required.
