@KlaraCharmwood I have to say I discovered you thanks to the short covers project and honestly I've been obsessed with them! The amount of effort and creativity poured into this is crazy and they are super fun to watch! 🥹

It's been about 1/2 a year since I started this shorts project, and we're almost at 50 songs!😳 One of the main goals was to reach more masters and ladies out there, but I've also learnt so much and had the opportunity to sing with so many amazing people! I'm really happy☺️🫶

@Stallzy You can but sometimes I just want to check how I did an effect or check an expression and when you have heavy files it takes longer to import than just run another instance for me personally

@generic_NPC can't you also just import the project inside of another project as a precomp?

My only After Effects tip is that you can have multiple AE projects open if you add -m at the end of the target path in AE properties because I'm not wasting 5min for my files to save, close, open when I just need to check one expression I did in an old project

@IdrisAdelowo There was aeae for mac (andrewandoru.com/labs/aeae/) but it was on CS6 so I don't know if it works with after effects newest versions

@RAINAplease It's an unfortunate consequence of audience attachment to influencers where it's easy to unconsciously project intentions especially on faceless staff (Sorry for the late reply I was reading your note, It's super interesting & did echo few experiences I've seen as a contractors!)

URGH yes - there's a lot of "you don't count" and putting-down that happens in this space, feels like the industry can't win either way, and the actual people just trying to do good work get flattened >< (Funny you mention hiring fans, actually! in case you didn't see it, I previously wrote about this phenomenon extensively - and my opinions about it: x.com/RAINAplease/st…)

Some tea: I've previously been accused of "clout chasing"/"trying to force friendships" when working with some big name clients for, uh... *checks notes* ...actually talking to them like regular human beings in work DMs. The kicker: this accusation didn't come from the clients.
