🚨Manchester United need a smart rebuild, not just a busy one. If the budget is used properly, this could be a proper summer plan; IN: Stiller — £32m Baleba — £60m Matheus Fernandes — £35m Kenan Yildiz — £55m Harry Kane — £30m Senesi — £50m Total: £262m OUT: Casemiro, Mount, Ugarte, fringe sales = recover £90m–£120m Net spend target: £160m-£180m after sales. Brighton might be about to learn a very expensive lesson with Carlos Baleba too after Evan Ferguson. Turning down £80m from Manchester United last season looked like confidence in their asset. In reality, it may have been a gamble that doesn’t age well. Right now, you’d struggle to say his market value is heading in that same direction if anything, it’s trending the opposite way, potentially closer to £40–45m. There’s a pattern clubs keep underestimating, the weight of a Manchester United link. Whether a player actually makes the move or not, the moment their name is tied to United, the pressure multiplies media scrutiny, fan expectations, constant comparison. It’s a different level entirely, and not every player comes out of it stronger. We’ve seen it before. For every player who rises, several others plateau or regress under that spotlight. Brighton have been one of the smartest selling clubs in Europe, but these decisions might break that pattern. If Baleba doesn’t hit the heights expected, they won’t just lose value they’ll lose the timing that made the £80m offer look like a masterstroke. And in this market, timing is everything.

Brighton looked Manchester United in the eye, slapped an £80–100m price tag on Evan Ferguson and refused any release clause so they could control everything like they’d discovered the next superstar. Fast forward, injuries and a poor Roma loan later, that €40m option is basically useless. His value is now around €25m and he’s back injured again. United avoided that scam while Brighton are left holding the bill. Back then, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcastle and even Bayer Leverkusen were all watching, but Brighton’s greedy pricing chased everyone away. Now look at it… all that hype just to end up here. Absolute bullet dodged.

@GenixDJ So true! It’s a mix of emotions. Putting it out after nurturing it for so long feels vulnerable but also really special, even more so when it comes from a true place.

My album has been submitted!! 🥲 Feels surreal to finally say this after the past 3 years. I’ve been living inside this album… not just the music, but the story, the visuals, the merch, the tour… every part of it has been something I’ve poured myself into. It’s been a lot, but in the best way. I feel like I’ve finally created something that really feels like me. I can’t wait for you to experience everything that’s coming, and watch this story keep unfolding.

@michaelttfw He’s been one of the best defenders in the league this season. And was fantastic last year. Fair play to him after all the crap he got online. Plays for the badge and plays with passion he deserves a new deal. You can’t put a price on experience

There isn’t a single club on earth that would pay Maguire over £100k a week other than the one he’s already at. Not sure how they’ve put a positive spin on giving a bang average, 33yo, declining, injury-prone CB a new contract but fair play. Means we won’t have to buy one now.

There’s only one player that can actually go head to head with Mohammed Salah as the best player ever in Premier league history. Thierry Henry. Any other person, doesn’t stand a chance. Only those Two can go Head to Head as the greatest Ever.

🚨 Liverpool to allow Mohamed Salah to leave on a FREE transfer despite having a contract at the club valid until June 2027. #LFC accept Salah’s desire to try new chapter in his career after making history at Anfield. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼
