They want you trapped in survival mode all the time.
Because a human being who is exhausted, anxious, financially cornered, isolated, or constantly afraid eventually stops asking what is right and starts asking only what is necessary.
And that is where moral standards begin to collapse.
Survival has a strange way of shrinking the soul. It narrows your vision until principles become luxuries, dignity becomes negotiable, and conscience starts sounding like a burden you can no longer afford to carry.
The more a person is drowned in permanent stress and instability, the easier it becomes to normalize things they once swore they would never accept. Not because they were born evil, but because desperation slowly rewires priorities.
A starving mind does not think like a free mind.
A frightened population does not defend values for long.
That is why keeping people in constant survival mode is more powerful than chains.
Because after enough pressure, many people will surrender their morals voluntarily just to breathe for one more day.
