@PocketSteaks What Caine did was absolutely wrong but he's also getting a short stick. First he gets blamed for not doing things his programming won't let him do then they tell him his efforts and singular reason for existence are pointless and then he dies thinking they planned to kill him.

He's trying, and I think he could succeed if his efforts shift from "Create something that makes humans happy." to "Make human happy." If Jax gets accommodation then Caine deserves redemption.

The way Caine just disappears is creepy…
No sound, no cry for help, nothing like that at all. Just… gone after realising what he had done.
You can tell he came to some sort of realisation with the way he delivers that “wait,” but by then it was already too late.

TADC SPOILERS Is it just me or did anyone felt pity for Caine when he realized he got deleted? Despite the torment he brought to the circus members, being instantly killed by an accidental push of a button is such a horrible fate for any character

@gagsnstripes @SamHain31st You can make the argument that he's a stronger antagonistic force than Jax but Jax drives most of the interpersonal conflicts that have been the main issue for the show.

@gagsnstripes @SamHain31st That's the thing though. Not only can Caine simply not help but it's only a problem because they can't escape. Caine's adventures are kind of an antagonistic force but that's mainly because of the larger antagonistic force of the circus.

@gagsnstripes @SamHain31st The adventures aren't a real conflict though.
We saw them be a source of conflict in episode 3 and 8. They aren't GOOD adventures but Jax has been considerably more difficult to deal with. Caine is more blamed for what he can't do than what he has done.

Jax at most causes interpersonal conflicts but he's not the one who causes the adventures and maintains the conditions that abstract people, Caine is the one running the show at all times

While Caine did let his ego get the better of him and allowed it to destroy his relationship with the cast, at the same time, I can’t help but feel sorry for him.
He just wasn’t cut out for this.
