How to build a trading agent to manage a Growth vs. Value ETF rotation strategy? Just describe your strategy: First, pull 120 days of daily candle data for $IWF (iShares Russell 1000 Growth) and $IWD (iShares Russell 1000 Value), then compute a momentum ratio between the two: track which factor has been outperforming over the trailing window. From that ratio series, calculate a z-score to determine whether the current Growth/Value spread is statistically significant enough to act on. If the signal is neutral, do nothing. Then, fetch my live portfolio: current positions, cash balance, and net worth. Figure out exactly how much of each ETF I should hold given the signal. Target a 99% allocation (keeping a 1% cash buffer) and only rebalance if the drift from target is large enough to justify trading costs. Make sure to handle two separate orders: sell the underperformer first, then buy the outperformer with the proceeds. Gate each trade behind its own conditional check, if Trade 1 doesn't execute, still check whether Trade 2 makes sense independently. Finally, at the end of every run, send me an email telling me exactly what happened, both trades executed, only one trade executed, or no rebalance needed, with full position and order details included. clean architecture. the Risk Monitoring template is a good start but it's reactive — alerts after limits are breached. what about a policy node that sits before the Exchange Order and enforces constraints in real time? "max 25% size, no leverage above 2x, block trades when volatility is extreme" — based on live market conditions, not just portfolio metrics. would love to explore this as an integration.
