Premier Team Engages at IPSEF Global 2024 in London! The Premier team had an incredible time attending the International and Private Schools Education Forum (IPSEF) Global 2024 in London this June!

The leadership teams at Premier School Management and Education Services @servepremier and Fulton Science Academy Private School @FSAPrivate have just completed their inspiring tour of Australia. Every year, we take our leaders to a different country to learn from the top schools and educational leaders worldwide. During our visit to Australia, we explored the International Grammar School, Barker College, and Amity College. We were deeply inspired by the outstanding educational quality of these institutions and their exceptional commitment to student engagement. Their innovative approaches and dedication to fostering a dynamic learning environment left a lasting impression on us. We also visited the Parliament, War Museum, and Museum of Democracy. Additionally, we had the pleasure of experiencing the beautiful Vivid Sydney attractions and exploring other wonderful cities like Canberra and Wollongong. Our favorite adventure was the stunning coastal beach walk from Coogee to Bondi, which we enjoyed so much that we did it twice. Of course, we also saw some kangaroos and koalas! One of the highlights of our trip was serving as judges at one of the schools' Master Chef competitions, where we had the opportunity to score the food and desserts prepared by students. It was a lot of fun and a truly memorable experience. Altogether, it was a highly enriching educational experience, complemented by breathtaking sightseeing and tours. We look forward to including the leaders of our Fulton Science Academy Atherton Korea campus in our future visits to learn from the experience of top schools and educational leaders worldwide.

🏆GREAT NEWS! 🏆 We're thrilled to announce that the Fulton Science Academy Math Team has clinched the 2024 State Championship title at today's GCTM State High School Math Competition in Macon, Georgia! 🎉 Maintaining our championship streak since 2018, we've kept the title right where it belongs - at home! It was a nail-biter of a competition, but our team emerged victorious by an 11-point margin: 1st - Fulton Science Academy: 1181 points 2nd - South Forsyth: 1170 points 3rd - GSMST: 1168 points 4th - Innovation Academy: 1104 points 5th - Westminster Schools: 1017 points A huge congratulations to our brilliant High School Math Team students and a special shout-out to Mrs. Sema Duzyol, the Math Olympiad Team coach, for her exceptional guidance and dedication. THE CHARACTER THEME FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER IS EMPATHY AT FULTON SCIENCE ACADEMY Empathy creates a foundation for trusting and caring relationships, increases our capacity for learning, empowers our students at every level, and provides support for everyone in our school community. To illustrate the power of empathy in action, let's consider the work of Dr. Jamil Zaki, a professor of psychology at Stanford University. Dr. Zaki has dedicated his career to studying empathy and its effects on human behavior. In his book, "The War for Kindness," he argues that empathy is not just a trait we are born with, but a skill that can be cultivated and strengthened through practice. One of Dr. Zaki's significant findings is that when people consciously work on being more empathetic, they can actually become kinder and more understanding individuals. For example, he highlights the story of a group of medical students who participated in an empathy training program. Before the program, these students, overwhelmed by their workload and constant exposure to suffering, often found themselves becoming detached from their patients' emotional experiences. However, after learning specific empathy-enhancing techniques, such as perspective-taking and active listening, they reported feeling more connected to their patients and found their work more fulfilling. This change not only benefited the students but also improved the quality of care they provided, as patients felt more understood and supported. This real-life example underscores the transformative power of empathy. It shows that by actively fostering empathy, we can not only enhance our own lives but also positively impact those around us. Let's keep this in mind as we embrace empathy in our lives.
