Those people are correct. The earth goes in cycles and we are naturally warming at this time... but science shows us that our emissions have amplified the warming making it faster than nature would have. Adaptation is tougher for coral for example that can't move to cooler water and isn't getting recovery seasons.

@Ginger_Zee Some people would tell you that the earth goes through Cycles and that this is normal.

@Ginger_Zee @danpeckwx Ginger Zee is a lost soul. Fossil fuels, nuclear and coal provide the vast majority of the US energy…let she worships wind turbines (terrible) and solar (which is unreliable and at most, supplemental power). How does ABC GMA continue to employ this lightweight.

Worst flooding in Hawaii in 20 years. It’s been a difficult few weeks from Maui back to Oahu. Parade of Kona lows gives them a break this week with much lighter rain. @samwnek @KentonGewecke

The north shore of Oahu is still in recovery mode. I’m not going up there on this trip as so many people are still suffering. On south shore, nature is healing 🌺🤙🏄 #Waikiki #Hawaii @bworley @Ginger_Zee

Kahului is experiencing its wettest month ever, and with 10 days left to go (the data currently go through the 21st). Here's a chart showing the top 10 wettest months all time. Note the 10 days missing...that's the rest of this month that will be able to add to the total. #hiwx

A Flash Flood Emergency has been issued for Northern Oahu for "catastrophic" flooding that is ongoing. Emergency management has reported life-threatening flash flooding that is blocking road access, obscuring road signs, and flooded out low-lying areas @kyledavidwx @KentonGewecke

We know that a majority of American cities have seen their number of heat waves double since 1980 but this one is super early! Phoenix has only ever seen 100° one time in the month of March but they should hit it for at least five days, crushing records.
