Those people are correct. The earth goes in cycles and we are naturally warming at this time... but science shows us that our emissions have amplified the warming making it faster than nature would have. Adaptation is tougher for coral for example that can't move to cooler water and isn't getting recovery seasons.

@Ginger_Zee @danpeckwx Ginger Zee is a lost soul. Fossil fuels, nuclear and coal provide the vast majority of the US energy…let she worships wind turbines (terrible) and solar (which is unreliable and at most, supplemental power). How does ABC GMA continue to employ this lightweight.

Yesterday in Pittsburgh, the temperature of 84°F not only set a new daily record but also tied the all-time March high temperature, which was last reached on March 25, 1929.

Hot stat: Kansas City has reach 93°F this afternoon. Prior to today the earliest day on record that Kansas City hit 93°F was April 29th of 1910. In fact, today would've been tied for the 2nd warmest April day on record (for any date) only behind 4/29/1910 when it reached 95°F

We know that a majority of American cities have seen their number of heat waves double since 1980 but this one is super early! Phoenix has only ever seen 100° one time in the month of March but they should hit it for at least five days, crushing records.
