Work has started on a new SEND unit at @Royallib, plus playground, providing extra student space, inc. groundworks, foundations, structural frame, roof, external envelope, internal fit-out, services installations & external works, all undertaken in a live school environment.

Work commenced @ The Treehouse, @EACH_hospices. A milestone breaking ground event drew an exceptional media turnout. We are particularly proud of this contract win; our project delivery team was carefully selected for their experience working in live and sensitive sites @EADT24

On #ThrowbackThursday we look back 5 years to October 2020, when we completed construction of the new NW2 Community Space, managed by New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich. The building was constructed adjacent to the main theatre on the roof of the spiral car park in Theatre Square.

Due to our continued expansion, we are delighted to welcome two new staff members to the Gipping family this week. 👏 Ed Smith joins us as Assistant Quantity Surveyor, and Clyde Palmer has taken on a part-time role as Procurement Assistant.

A wet day for the #TourofBritain, stage 2 in #Suffolk! In 2023, the peloton rode past our site at the former @BaberghSuffolk Councils offices, Hadleigh, in blistering heat, but today was very different. We were there with our ALLEZ! banners to welcome and cheer on the riders.

One week to go until the Men's Stage Two #TourofBritain passes through #Hadleigh. Two years ago, we lined the road outside our site for @BaberghSuffolk, where we've redeveloped the former offices. Next week, we will be back with the banners, cheering as the peloton whizzes past.

We are in the demolition phase of our project at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge. All the roof soil has been removed while the slabs and concrete areas are being broken up. The insulation is also being removed. #liveandrestrictedsite

Bronze award for Ravenswood team in the @CCScheme National Site Awards 2025, reflecting their commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, hard work & dedication to the site. The team also scored the maximum 45 last year. Ravenswood was completed in May for @IpswichGov.

The sun shone for the Gipping/@EllisonsLaw Cycling & BBQ 🌞🚴 Rob Hart, from Genesis Orwell Mencap's Green Bike Project talked about their work with people with learning disabilities, whilst refurbishing pre-loved bikes. Guests generously gave & also donated bikes and equipment.

The Centre for Mathematical Sciences, #UniversityofCambridge, where we have been setting up the site ready to remove existing roof lights & green roof with all soil & insulation before constructing a new curved rooflight & green roof, including insulation & seating.

Our Babergh project is rapidly nearing completion. The development, aptly named 'Bowler's Croft', is adjacent to Hadleigh Cricket Club and is an excellent example of how heritage can harmoniously blend with contemporary construction. @BaberghSuffolk
