25 years since GeForce 256?! Man we've been doing this a lonngg time. Glad to have @NVIDIAGeForce on the journey! To put how early & groundbreaking GeForce 256 was in perspective, here's Nvidia with its successor, GeForce3, 2 years later. Further in the clip, Maximum PC legends!

There simply isn't enough space on Twitter to say what needs to be said. I've written for AnandTech for nearly two decades, and I've enjoyed every second of it. Sadly, we've reached the end of the road. But I thank all of our readers over the years; you've made it worth it
AnandTech@anandtech

After 27 years of providing in-depth coverage of the amazing world of PC and mobile hardware, AnandTech is saying farewell. We want to thank everyone from the AnandTech community for their support and passion for what we’ve done over the years anandtech.com/show/21542/end…

@PatrickMoorhead @wccftech @hms1193 I'm guessing the bar is bigger? All kidding aside, the 1T perf is what I'm honing in on. I feel like nT can be far more variable based on the TDP of the chips. No matter what, it'll be a good 3-way boxing match 24H2!

Looked into this a bit more… WOW. There are entire subreddits detailing nearly identical symptoms/failures: reddit.com/r/buildapc/com… Not sure if this is 120V/240V dependent. We will withhold pushing any DPP13 from be quiet! until this has been followed up and rectified.
Charlie@ghost_motley

The aftermath of the be quiet! Dark Power Pro 13 1600W which blew itself up. Live prong on PSU side severely damaged and C19 power socket is also damaged beyond use. 13 Amp fuse was blown and even even when replaced, the PSU will trip, so can't be tested.

@MichaelCrider @morphingball @Gordonung Windows trashing control panel...I'm with Alaina on this...want tools on one place rather than clicking and searching all over the place, "settings" is not a great joy to use either; just keep control panel.

@Gordonung @morphingball @AdamPMurray Gordon...remind the others that in the "legacy generation", Wordstar was THE killer app WAY before windows and now that it's out again, they should try it as a way to light a candle to those who came before.

the duality of workload improvements in zen5. I get gamers, but this is the other side of the coin that's legit bananas. ofc we'll know more once the 12/16c reviews are out. wink wink nudge nudge.
Phoronix@phoronix

Some of the @AMDRyzen 9000 series gains are pretty wild in addition to the power efficiency. Besides exciting me for @AMDServer EPYC Turin with these workloads, it will also make for very interesting EPYC 4004 successor (EPYC 4005?). 4004 already drenched Xeon E-2400 while now can sport even better efficiency & wins in areas like Python / Numpy and other ST server workloads. I'm working on even more Ryzen 9000 series Linux workload tests ahead. In case you missed all the launch day tests - phoronix.com/review/ryzen-9…
