@Timberland_UK shoes bought in Jan 2023, expensive as well. The gore-tex membrane has holes in both shoes already! Stepping on grass results in my socks getting soaking wet. The photo is from this morning after literally 15 seconds on the grass. Disappointing quality.

@MerrellUK why is it the boots and shoes i have are no longer waterproof after a few yrs, goretex, merrell=rubbish!!! It can’t be difficult to make shoes and boots to last more than a few years.. as my meindl boots are +20yrs and still waterproof!!!

@GORETEXeu @SalomonSports She spoke with the Customer Service team and said the damage was her fault when it's a crack fault of the shoe not a cut from use. Not heavily used, regularly cleaned and rewaterproofed. We expected more from Goretex.
