Today, I met with aspirants seeking election into the House of Representatives under the platform of the APC at the Banquet Hall of Government House, Yola.

I have successfully scaled the @OfficialAPCNg screening process for the 2027 polls. My profound gratitude to our party leadership for the trust. I remain fully committed to serving the people of Adamawa North with integrity and vision. We will sustain our progress and secure a greater future for our Senatorial District.

Today, I received Abdulrahman Haske at my official residence in Abuja. This makes him the second candidate to officially inform me and seek my blessings for his governorship aspiration. The strength of any democracy lies in the caliber of those willing to serve. It was a pleasure to engage with a young leader who has remained consistent in his dedication to our shared vision for a greater Adamawa. In our journey to build a state that works for everyone, we welcome the energy and purpose of those ready to carry the mantle of leadership with integrity. As he embarks on this path, my counsel remains the same: lead with the people at the heart of every decision.

Today, I welcomed and offered my blessings to Dr. Salihu Mustapha, who is officially the first to visit my office to present himself as a Gubernatorial Aspirant of the @OfficialAPCNg . We will work hard to ensure that, as much as we are working for fairness, we are also working for loyalty to the people.

Today, I have heeded the clarion call of our people to contest for the Adamawa North Senatorial seat. I am deeply humbled and grateful to the respected stakeholders, especially Senator Amos Yahaya and all leaders across the five LGAs for this profound trust and honour. Your confidence fuels my resolve to deliver even greater service, sustained development, and lasting peace to our zone.

As a united front, we remain committed to the vision of our great party and the continued progress of Nigeria. Today, I received the newly posted heads of paramilitary organisations in Adamawa State at the Government House, Yola. I charged them to discharge their duties with utmost integrity, strengthen collaboration with the State Government, and intensify efforts towards improved security, public safety, and efficient service delivery in their commands.

Today I received the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Adamawa State chapter, at Government House. I directed the immediate implementation of all outstanding promotions for our civil servants, with full financial benefits to be paid before the end of May. As I told them at the meeting: “My workers don’t have to cry before I lend them a handkerchief. I’d rather keep it that way.” This administration remains fully committed to the welfare and career progression of our hardworking civil servants.

My heart breaks for the people of Guyaku in Gombi LGA. Today, I stood on the ground where our brothers and sisters were cruelly taken from us. This act of cowardice is an affront to our humanity and will not go unpunished. To the bereaved families: Adamawa mourns with you. To the attackers: justice is coming. We are intensifying security operations immediately to restore peace and ensure every resident feels safe in their home again. We will rebuild, and we will remain resilient.

Today, I visited the Mayo Ladde community in Hong LGA to personally condole with the Tol Huba, Barr. Alheri Bulus Nyako, and the families affected by the recent tragic attack. The loss of lives is a heavy burden for our state, and my heart goes out to the victims and those currently taking refuge in Uba Gaya. We remain undeterred; my administration will continue to provide support to our military and vigilante groups to ensure lasting peace and security for all Adamawa residents. Stay strong, Hong. We are with you.

Today marks a historic milestone as we formalize the fusion of our forces into a new, united APC Adamawa. ​With our structures now fully in place from Ward to State levels, we are stronger, more focused, and ready. Our mission is clear: absolute victory for the Renewed Hope agenda. Congratulations to our new State Chairman, Alhaji Hamza Bello, and all the newly elected executives across all levels. ​Adamawa is APC!

Today, I joined my brother, Governor Inuwa Yahaya, to commission several landmark infrastructural projects across Gombe State. From the 33km Kaltungo-Balanga road to the modern Tsangaya School at Bakasi, these initiatives reflect a shared commitment to regional development and human capital.

Today, I was honored to receive the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Mehmet Poroy, at the Government House in Yola. Our partnership remains strong; Turkey is currently host to over 100 Adamawa students excelling in their studies. We are committed to expanding these educational opportunities and strengthening our collaboration on skills acquisition and humanitarian support to ensure a brighter, more secure future for all.

Today in Michika, I was deeply honoured at the Annual Cultural Festival, graced by illustrious sons and daughters whose presence reflects the enduring strength of our shared heritage. I sincerely appreciate His Royal Majesty for bestowing on me the title “Lakeka Michika” , a profound symbol of responsibility. It is a reminder that culture anchors our identity, while leadership must translate that legacy into unity, security, and tangible development for all.

My deepest sympathies to His Excellency, @elrufai, on the passing of his mother. Losing a mother is profoundly painful, yet we accept it as the will of Allah. She was a respected matriarch, a caring mother, and a pillar of support to many in her community. I pray that Allah forgives her shortcomings and grants her Al-Jannah Firdaus. Amin.

Yesterday, I was officially received into the @OfficialAPCNg by Vice President @KashimSM at a grand reception in Yola. My focus still remains on delivering good governance for our people and supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda for a stronger Nigeria.

Today, I inspected Ribadu Square ahead of tomorrow’s reception, and also visited the Children’s Park project and the Government House Banquet Hall to assess progress.

Today, I visited Sen. Abdulazeez Nyako and welcomed his realignment to the @OfficialAPCNg; a step toward unity, strength, and victory ahead.
