Update on the hoarding case near Hinckley. They got 30 cats so far and they are all getting the medical attention they need. 3 more to get tomorrow. House is getting cleaned and we are in the process of getting the gentleman the help he needs. Thank you to everyone who help donate, it’s much appreciated. @BearingArmsCom Isn't there a "full faith and credit" argument? If Texas is obligated to honor the marriage license issued by Massachusetts, why is MA not obliged to honor the carry license issued by TX ?

Oh jeeze. Can someone who knows him please tell Judge Grasz about the travelers exception laws? Because that is EXACTLY what our historical tradition says; travelers get special leeway when it comes to the right to carry. So infuriating this didn't come up at all, such a missed opportunity in the 8th Circuit. I really wish I managed to submit an amicus brief there. I realize the argument hasn't been raised, but they should remand it for new briefing and a ruling with the travelers exception history factored in. If they would just read our Gardner brief....ugh.

@OrinKerr Could always input it in several models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to see if it’s [substantially] the same output. Better than just guessing. Inconsistencies and misinterpretations tend to stick out in my experience.

Looking at prices today, and YEP! I nailed it lol. This post aged well. The Iran war has really skyrocketed prices very suddenly. Hopefully it wraps up soon and prices drift back down. But it seems like we can never have cheap ammo prices for long. Historically something always seems to happen to ruin it.

FYI, right now we are in what we will probably refer to in the future as the "good old days" of ammo prices. Granted, these prices below are a bit lower because I am an ammo plus member ($100/year for slightly lower prices and free shipping), but even without that they are only about 80 cents more per box. I last saw prices like this in 2019, but dollars were worth much more then as it was pre Biden-era inflation. So this may be the cheapest I've ever seen ammo since getting into shooting in 2017. Stock up now! They will inevitably rise again sooner or later.
