So, @Somnia_Network has made a final decision regarding the lootboxes.
Overall, they went with a fairly well-balanced compromise.
Key points:
- 2 lootboxes per account cap
A crucial change - the gap between whales and regular users is now significantly reduced
- Entry cost reduced from 32 keys to 8
More users can now participate
- Compensation
Shows the team is taking into account those who already spent funds
-Reduced points from lootboxes + recalculation
Helps align results between early openers and those who open later
As a result, the overall impact of lootboxes on final standings is now much more limited than initially planned.
Overall, it’s clear the team made an effort to listen to the community and address the major imbalances in the system.

We've heard your feedback. Here's the updated Lootbox structure: • 2 Lootboxes max per account • Each Lootbox now requires 8 Keys (down from 32) • Lootbox points will receive % boost • Points from Lootboxes have been reduced • If you've already opened a Lootbox, your reward will automatically reflect the new table. No action needed. If you opened more than 2 Lootboxes: • Only 2 boxes worth of points will count • Any SOMI spent on extra Keys (beyond 16) will be reimbursed. The details are being refined and we’ll share more updates soon.
