This Saturday, the de Menil Gallery opened a week-long "Advanced Art Exhibition: 2026 Selected Works" show during the end of the year visual arts gala. The exhibit marks the first time student work has been displayed in this gallery space. Read more: bit.ly/42ZULq7

After classes yesterday, students headed outside for Spring Fling, where they competed alongside their dormmates in an obstacle course, dodgeball, soapy spikeball, and tug of war!

At Saturday’s Short Works Festival, students created one-act plays, dance performances, and a short film, all presented on stage in the Campbell Performing Arts Center.

It was the last St. Mark's Day of the year this past weekend. Groton's historic rivals traveled to our home fields for spring athletics competitions on both Friday and Saturday, and many seniors competed in their last high school games. More photos: flic.kr/s/aHBqjCURxb

One minute of Minute-to-Win-It (sped-up version) Spirit Week happens once a term to hype students up leading to St. Mark's Day. Dorms compete for the most points by dressing up and competing in short games during Conference Period throughout the week. #RollZeebs

For this year's prank, Groton and Lawrence Academy students swapped places with their neighbors. Entertainment ensued when the Lawrence students took over Roll Call and announcements concluded with the classic Happy Birthday song, rather than Groton's traditional birthday cheer.

At this year's Grotonstock, students enjoyed a beautiful Saturday evening on the Circle and listened to their friends sing, play instruments, and perform comedy routines.

"Outside The Lines: stories of fitting in, standing out, and standing up" by Logan '27, Karlene '29, Sophie '28, Aisling '27, Daniel '26, Michelle '26, Rory H. '28, Peter '27, and Rohan (Lawrence Academy), with writing by Evelyn '27, and stage management by Owen '28.

The Cultural Alliance is an extracurricular student-led community that provides a space for students to discuss racial justice and other societal issues and connect with each other. Last night, they held their year-end celebration in the Admission Office with food and games.

On Saturday the track and field team smashed several school records at the Independent School League Championships. Groton School records were broken by Maggie '29, Susan '28, Katrina '26, Kaysan '26, and the girls 4x100 meter relay team. Read more: bit.ly/4d7MshN

Scenes from the Sixth Form Alumni Association welcome dinner, where the soon-to-graduate form dined with faculty, trustees, and alumni and was welcomed into the alumni community

On Sunday, twenty students went to the Winsor School in Boston for the Asian American Footsteps Conference (AAFC), accompanied by Ms. Ho, Ms. Ishizuka, and Ms. Jin. Five students—Arwen '28, Hansen '28, Irene '28, Max '28, and Nikhil '27—led workshops at the conference.

Groton School Dean of Globalism and Experiential Learning Nishad Das has received the 2026 Salomon Prize for Global Educator of the Year from the Institute for Global Learning. Read more: bit.ly/48AN9gZ

The College Counseling Office hosted athletics recruiters to speak to students from the Third, Fourth, and Fifth form interested in playing sports in college. They presented info about NCAA divisions and the recruiting process, including eligibility, timelines, and scholarships.
