On Monday, May 18, GU Politics is teaming up with FOX 5 DC to host a televised D.C. Democratic Mayoral Debate. Georgetown students may submit questions to the candidates here: bit.ly/GUMayorQs

This week was a whirlwind - but I enjoyed it immensely. Started in DC, where I saw some of my favorite @GUPolitics students, then off to Nashville to a fun event at the @countrymusichof, honoring the great @Clint_Black, then to FL for the @miami_summit, where I moderated a panel on artificial intelligence in politics and policy. Leading a discussion among pros like @alexlundry, @katieharbath and @Rob_Flaherty was a treat! They’re tops in their respective fields, and I learned a lot from them that I’ll take with me onto the campaign trail, where AI is playing a bigger and bigger role. AND - we got to spend some time with my fellow @Georgetown alum, NBA legend @iamzo33, who also spoke at the event. (Hoya Saxa!) Now, it’s time for a relaxing Saturday at home in SC, before I head back to Washington tomorrow, to cover King Charles’ visit and address to Congress. 5 years ago, my future was uncertain, but I'm here to tell you that with faith, family, friends - and great doctors - anything is possible. Never give up! Self-exam. Get a mammogram. Advocate for yourself. #BeatCancer 👊👠
