If foreign products are tariffed the way our products are tariffed in that same country, those products would no longer be cheap. Does it not bother you that everything in your house says made in china? Or Taiwan? Or Korea? Next time you travel to those countries check a few things. Good luck finding a made in USA tag on anything. If that doesnt bother you then you’re not much of a patriot. Patriots don’t mind paying a little more for a product that promotes US economy, jobs, GDP, etc. But the price needs to be a little bit more. Not a lot more. That’s what the tariffs will do. The difference wont show quickly. It will take time for the “Made In America” approach to put money back in the US pockets, but give it a chance. At least Trump is trying. Ive been all over the USA and for weeks at a time. As far as manners go the US has us beat. People hold doors and say thank you faster than in CA. Even in traffic people seem to let you in quicker. Ive never been treated differently for being Canadian. If anything maybe treated better. People in the US in general seem to think of us as a close relative. And thats how I feel as well. Don’t let our politicians ruin that. We’re all Americans. Yet sadly I come on X and it seems that if Im in a discussion and they find out I’m Canadian I’m quickly bashed. Our free healthcare just means instead of people with jobs paying for their own healthcare ins like in the USA we get to give our money to the govt so they can take care of all the people who dont want to work. That way the people with jobs can wait in line at the hospital right behind the people who dont want to work. It’s one of the ways our govt encourages people to stay unemployed, and yes that includes our lovely immigrants.

This father took his two boys bike riding. The trail they were on said kid friendly. But as you can see, chaos erupted. As the dad was tending to his one son who had already crashed, his other son was coming down the trail. He screamed several times for him to hit his brakes but his son flew by him and kept going and wiped out. When the dad got to him, he appeared to be okay. Just to be safe, he took his boys to go get checked out. Luckily no broken bones, internal bleeding or permanent damage outside of a few cuts bruises and scrapes. The dad said he wishes he would have just reached back and grabbed him as he came down but he was busy tending to his other son. It could have been much worse. Many people are blaming the dad saying he was irresponsible and that he should have checked the trail out before they rode down it. Do you think the father is to blame? Do you think it’s just boys being boys, they’re tough and that’s life? Or, do you think the parks and recreation department is to blame for labeling the bike path as a kid’s path?
