it’s my birthday today 🥳

I learned something about myself recently in Death Valley… to bloom anyway.🌼 I was still wheezing and having trouble breathing recovering from being super sick, but I decided to make the drive and see the Death Valley super bloom anyway. I wasn’t going to let anything keep me from experiencing a once in a decade event. In fact, the superbloom itself inspired me. Despite being one of the hottest, driest places on earth, for a brief moment in time, it’s full of life and color. Delicate bright yellow, deep purples, soft pinks explode out of the dry desert floor defying the elements and transforming “Death Valley” into one of abundance. To me, that’s the meaning of spring. The resurrection of life. So what I learned about myself is this: even when I’m not feeling my best, it’s worth doing it. It’s worth showing up. It’s worth blooming anyway. And these are the pictures I got. 🌸🌼🪻 So grateful I got to see it before its gone. Don’t miss life’s beauty all around you.
